Sturdier than I expected
They're thicker and sturdier than I expected. The plastic is not entirely smooth so I can imagine it getting stained with tomato sauce, etc. down the road, but for now, they're great. I keep a set in my lunch bag all the time.

Very durable
I bought these for my Bob bag. These are very light weight and durable. They do not feel like they would break like the old regular plastic utensils.

nice set.
these worked as desired. The plastic loop that hooks them together (removable) is annoying so I threw that out. I found out the hard way that they do melt so don't use them when cooking (I wasn't planning on using them this way but I was in a pinch at the time). I bought these to use with the GSI Outdoors Cascadian 4 Person Table Set of plates and the knives don't really mark up the plates when cutting, which is what I was looking for. They work well together.

This is a great light weight set of utensils for camping
This is a great light weight set of utensils for camping. Whether weekend camping or going on longer treks where all weight matters, I highly recommend this set.

They may not be as cool as titanium utensils but I think these are the smarter choice by far.
I have 4 sets of these in my backpacking cook set bag. I looked around and found all the titanium utensils to be expensive and sized for children. These are full size utensils and feel comfortable in use. The spoon is long enough to eat from a Mountain House bag. They don't absorb heat so, you can stir a cup of hot chocolate, tea, or soup and the spoon won't burn your mouth. They are smooth and easy to clean. They are about 1/6 the cost of a titanium set. They are lighter than the child sized titanium sets. About 26% lighter on average. They aren't your throw-away plastic utensils from McDonalds, these hold up well to reasonable use. Never had one break yet. The Acetal resin these are molded from is a high grade thermoplastic used in applications where it replaces metal including medical devices, safety restraints, and even gears. The one area where plastic fails to measure up to metal is resistance to extreme heat. With titanium or stainless you can simply boil them to sanitize them. Not sure I'd try that with these. Also, a spoon left in a pot too long may melt. But overall, for me, the positives outweigh the negatives. They may not be as cool as titanium utensils but I think these are the smarter choice.

Easily broken
I have snapped every piece of this set - all while casually eating at my desk. If these break at work, no big deal - just bum another plastic utensil from a coworker. However, if these break in the woods, you'll be eating with a stick and a pocket knife. Wouldn't recommend these, but especially not for camping/backpacking! Add a little weight and pick up some metal utensils that will last.
