Used the product on an old antique chair. The leather had rotted and fallen apart.The fabric was very easy to pull in to shape and fold over, Stapled it to the frame and that is the result.First time I have tried this process, excellent.

I used this to re-upholster a stool in my lounge. I love the material as it has a bit of stretch in it, but it’s thick enough that it doesn’t tear. I used a staple gun to attach the material to the stool, and it looks fantastic.The seller sent the item before the date expected, and it was packaged really well. Good quality material. The photos in the listing don’t show the mottled variation in the colour - it’s not a uniform grey, with patches of dark and lighter grey. Doesn’t stretch or tear so perfect for dining room seat cover replacement.

In itself, this looks to be of good quality. However, on arrival it had a terrible smell. I had to leave it in a shed for 3 days before I could even bring it in the house. (Not just me being fussy - the rest of the family also objected.) I think that a decent supplier would have the smell dissipate before putting the stuff on the market.

When it came it was folded so had lots of creases but within a couple of days, laid flat, the creases disappeared. Easy to fit, very happy with the result.

Leatherette was the colour expected and arrived during delivery time stated. Not quite as thick as I had thought . Stretch helped with the curve of the chair seat but then resulted in more fabric needing to be stapled on the chair base.

Providing you don’t rush the job of covering whatever surface it is you plan to cover (take your time focusing on the correct measurements that you require - there’s a super graph on the opposite side of the product that will assist you when cutting straight lines etc. If you get any bubbles (if small) you can prick the area with a pinhole which will normally resolve the problem. However, if larger air pockets surface, you will probably have to lift the Fablon and relay it again until you’ve achieved a smooth surface. I can highly recommend this product; it’s very user friendly!
