Only the Caterpillars.
I do this every year with my second graders and they absolutely love it! It’s such a fun way to watch the change happen. This pack is just the caterpillars and their food, so make sure you already have the butterfly habitat. They come healthy and ready to go, and the kids get so excited to watch them grow and turn into butterflies. It's always one of our favorite parts of the year!

An Amazing Experience for Children and Adults
I highly recommend this as a project to do with children to help them understand the formation of a caterpillar. My daughter is grown but we have ordered several of them just for the pure joy of seeing butterflies hatch! Just a side note-once the butterflies hatch, put a little banana on your finger to feed them before you let them free. It was an amazing experience to have a butterfly eat while perched on my finger!

Fun and educational
The media could not be loaded. Great value for the money. I think I received extra caterpillars which is perfect for me!! Thank you. I just got them April 1st and took Them to my counseling office to have the student participate in the lifecycle of the butterfly as I do each year!!!! They were tiny and in 2 days once they were out of the box they’re grown!!! It’s very easy to use and most Importantly fun and educational For the kids! Thank you

The Fascinating World of Caterpillars
Caterpillars, those small and seemingly insignificant creatures, have an enchanting world hidden beneath their tiny, wriggling bodies. My recent experience observing caterpillars has left me in awe of nature's extraordinary transformations.**Pros**:1. **Metamorphosis**: The life cycle of a caterpillar, culminating in its transformation into a butterfly or moth, is nothing short of miraculous. Watching this metamorphosis unfold is a captivating journey that brings a sense of wonder to both children and adults.2. **Biodiversity**: The diversity among caterpillar species is astonishing. From striking colors to intricate patterns, caterpillars come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, making them a joy to discover in nature.3. **Educational**: Observing caterpillars is an excellent way to introduce kids to the concepts of life cycles, biology, and ecology. It provides an opportunity for hands-on learning and instills an appreciation for the natural world.**Cons**:1. **Short Lifespan**: Caterpillars have relatively short lifespans in their larval stage. This might be disappointing for those who become attached to their little companions, but it's an integral part of their life cycle. In conclusion, caterpillars are nature's enchanting storytellers, weaving tales of transformation and resilience. These humble creatures have the power to instill awe, curiosity, and respect for the natural world. My experience with caterpillars has been nothing short of magical, and I encourage everyone to take a moment to observe these remarkable beings in their journey of life.

The package came in on time but a little upset that one caterpillar was dead.

Love it
At first I had no idea what was in the box it was not labeled Amazon but looked like a regular fedex box. I think my kids tossed it around a bit. But they were okay so cute packaged so nice and snug. All are alive and just wiggling around. I must get a net. I thought I just buy them and release them. No no . I'm sure I have over 10. So happy with this purchase. Trying to resist the urge to feed them. They have all they need. My kids are very excited for our project. I am even more. I don't see them in my busy city anymore. Their lives are so short but in that brief time, the site of a butterfly 🦋 just brings so much joy. Will buy again
