Great little bow for the price!
This is a nice little bow, especially for the price. Just came today and I shot a few dozen arrows without any tuning. The draw is very smooth, with no signs of stacking at 28". There was no hand shock and the shooting is very consistent and smooth. It shot nice groups of arrows at 20 yards. Can't speak to the long-term use but it seems as well built as laminated bows I have paid tripple for. If this holds up to regular use the next few months, and the 55lb. model is made available, I'm definitely buying that one. Also going to get each of the kids the 15 or 20lb. models. Thanks for the nice little bow.

A great bow for a great price
After watching Gare on youtube, I wanted to get into traditional archery but cant afford the english longbow of my dreams. As a brand new archer I have to say I am very satisfied with this bow. You can't beat the price and the wood handle feels nice in the hand. I definitely would recommend going for the 40 pounds. Get some feathered arrows, not vanes, so you can shoot off the shelf if you want to and make sure to get more arrows than you think you'll need because you might break or loose a few in the beginning. After the quiver, tab, and knock points the whole set up was less than $150. This a the prefect beginner's bow that you can just throw in your car and not worry about

Slowly splitting apart
Shoots well but I have a major problem now. I received it March 2 and have shot it less than a dozen times I have a fast flight string on it which the description says is OK. The "re-enforced tip" seems to have a separation between the lamination layers. It did not come pkg'd with a string either but I was willing to overlook that for a nice little bow. Will be returning - added - seems I am outside of the return window by 4 days :( will contact amazon to see if I have any options. Very disappointed.

It says 40# at 28 inches and I pull 27 inches so it should be pulling around 37
It says 40# at 28 inches and I pull 27 inches so it should be pulling around 37 ib but at 27 inches its only 30 ib great quality bow for the price but if your not pulling 28 inches you might want to get a heavier # bow then what they say

Excellent bow
My 14yr old daughter wanted a traditional bow - this bow did not disappoint. The 20lb version is perfect. Its got a beautiful finish and the bow shoots very well. You will need a knock and a felt arrow rest. I used some 32" carbon arrows with feathers and they fly very straight. My daughter is extremely happy with the bow!

A little expensive for what you get.
This is a nice bow for small women or children. My wife can not pull my 30 pound back so we got her this 20 pound bow. The bow looks nice but is more of a summer camp bow or a kids beginner bow. To me its more worth 45 dollars not 80

Great for starting out Archers!
It is perfect for new Archers. Some little burrs in were the string seats. But nothing a chainsaw file cant smooth out!

Great bow
Very happy with the quality of bow for the price I am a little disappointed as in the description on Amazon says Max draw length is 35 in once I received Max draw length is 32in unfortunately my draw length is 33 so on that note I am a little disappointed but that is the only disappointment I have

Overall decent but not what I ordered.
I had ordered a 55# bow and got a 45# bow. Its nice for someone learning the basics and to build muscle memory. I think this bow is best suited for a young person to young adults. Skilled archers should save for something in the 250 range or higher.

Limb cracked after shooting 2 arrows. I was so looking forward for this bow. So unfortunate.
Cracked limb after shooting 2 arrows. Bow looks good but already has a split in the limb.
