Amazing sound, Great fit!
I already had a pair of cheap Anker Life P2i earphones which have great Bass, but I was looking for clearer highs/mids... 1st call was a pair of Anker Life Liberty 4 NC phones that get great reviews on Amazon. Unfortunately, although they were impressively clear, they did not produce the kind of deep, thumping bass I was looking for. They also were not the best fit. Although I achieved a good "seal" to the ear canal, the overall feel was not confidence inspiring. One of the phones did not work at all, so they were returned... So I bought the Sony WF-XB700s...I was a little concerned from reading the reviews that the bass might overwhelm the other frequencies, and they might not have the clarity I required. But on trying the phones, I am very impressed! The bass is full and deep (and reasonably tight), but the mids and highs are surprisingly clear, and music that doesn't contain deep bass doesn't sound too bassy. Overall, the sound has met or exceeded my expectations. The fit is particularly good. Comfortable and secure, with a good amount of passive noise isolation (these phones are NOT noise cancelling in the active sense) they feel good in my ears and block out quite a lot of external sound I found the build quality was good (better than expected), and they felt like a quality item. The best thing about these phones is undoubtedly the sound - which is almost perfect (for me) without having to add any EQ - an earphone first! Only negative is the baffling instructions, which are in the form of pictures only. I have no idea what some of them mean!

They are banging
Been using these all day everyday for about 3 years and they still slap out banging audio 😎 If you want a decent set for gaming for just standard cruising these have got you covered, thank you Sony for making something decent 🖤

Good quality headphones
Good battery life, with good quality sound for both listening and microphone Only drawback was Bluetooth only allows connection to a single device at a time.

Sony's XB700 are Air POD and Galaxy POD Killers
Incredible Bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very impressed with the durable feel of the item also, you can tell the housing is designed to last drops and prevent scratches, and I really appreciate that as a owner of Sony's flagship XM3 buds also. I am also able to enjoy them in the pouring rain, unlike the XM3's. This is a huge plus, as I have many times runned the risk of getting buds wet. I have to say though, I am a little disappointed by the mids quality, only compared to the XM3's experience, but I doubt I would feel this way if I hadn't experienced those first. They don't have the same level of richness, and clarity, and I do miss that. But then, these are using different 12mm drivers, which have their very own special advantages.... I hate over ear earphones, most look and feel uncomfortable on me, and despite the quality you can get on those units, I much prefer wireless buds. With these buds, you make few sacrifices, the soundstage is punchy and energetic, and perfect for modern musical tastes. Bass heavy music sounds devilishly good, spine tingling good the first time you experience it. It feels unexpected that a wireless buds can create this degree of bass. The bass is extremely impressive, its wonderful to get such rich bass levels from buds, for what feels like the first time. They fit very well, creating passive ANC, better than seen on the XM3. This also probably helps improve that bass effect also. They look very futuristic in the ear with the oblong radar attenna housings. Both the black and blue models look great. Tough choice. If you're looking to the best Sony can offer, the XM3's are still the way to go, they will satisfy anyone, because the soundstage is incredible and caters to all music. These, don't to the same level, and direct proof of this is the lack of Sony Headphones Connect App compatibility. Yet? I'd give these a solid 9.0 - Great Price for Bass Heavy buds XM3's are 9.4's, with the EQ levels all up, and the use of a quality sound source or service like Tidal

Fantastic pair of headphones, especially considering the price.
I had been looking to upgrade to some wireless buds for quite some time and finally got around to treating myself over the Christmas holidays. The audio quality on these is phenomenal and the noise cancelling is just as good. Even with nothing playing through them they effectively shut out the white noise around you. I only noticed how good this was when doing a grocery shop in tesco and after taking one bud out I when the music was paused I noticed quite how loudly the Air conditioning was blowing in the store. I find them to be very comfortable however it takes a minute to figure out how best to get them into your ears due to the odd shape. Battery life is very good and you deffinately get the 9h of battery life + 9h of battery from the charging case as advertised. Only encountered two issues with the headphones as of yet. Firstly that you cannot have just one earbud in. They both have to be out of the case to connect to your bluetooth. This means having to shove a loose bud into a pocket when walking around busy streets rather than being able to keep one safely in the case. It also means you cannot keep one bud in whilst the other charges in the case. My second issue, and a very minor one, is that the microphone is only in the left headphone whilst the play and pause button is on the right headphone meaning when using only one of the buds (the other stashed in a pocket) you have to swap them to take calls as I find that keeping the play/pause button in ear is more convenient when listening to music/podcasts. Over all, a great pair of headphones with only a few niggly issues that only effect usability and doesnt comprimise the sound. Couldnt recomend enough if you were looking for a sub £100 pair of wireless buds.

Didn't fit well for me, but if they fit for you then these will be amazing!
I wanted to love these, I think I still do a bit despite having to return them. Firstly let's start with why they had to go back, pain, these earbuds have a very unique system that I think will work brilliantly for most people. They have a tri-lock system that holds them in place really well, really really well! However for me that was just exerting so much pressure on my ears that it caused a lot of pain after wearing them. That paid was made worse when talking, smiling etc. It's a real shame as science is sound, I just have really small ears. Having had many earbuds over the years I've never got on with fins, loops etc, the only ones that ever work for me are ones with just buds that go into my ear canal. Moving on to all the positive bits for those of you who will most likely be fine with these earbuds. Sound quality - these are good! Very bassy but also plenty of everything else. Given the isolation you get from the earbuds and the rest of the unit sat in your ear, there's just no need for ANC so save yourself a few quid with these. Battery life - really good also, my go to pair are Jam Live Louds that I get barely 3 hours out of. These we doing an entire work shift switching between music, pc playback, video calls with colleagues etc. The case also provides a good charge also. The case - a touch plasticy but nice magnetic lock when you put the buds in and a light to signify the charge, the buds light up and the case and with the lid being transparent you get a funny evil looking face with the lights. Size wise the case is ok, you wouldn't want it much larger though as its just about ok for pockets. Call quality - brilliant! This is where these are really good as you come across really clear to the other caller. Accessories, you get the cable and the range of earbuds and instructions. Summary - amazing sound quality for the price. If you don't need ANC (and trust me with these you don't) then save yourself the money! The fit was my issue so my review total reflects that for me but on the individual strengths it scored highly. One minor niggle was the fact that these didn't support multiple connections, ie to my phone and my pc at the same time, this is something £20 headphones can do, but then they don't sound like these?

Regardless of sound expertise, these are fantastic
Definitely ones for the bass lovers. Some people just prefer bass heavy sound, like myself, i find it theraputic. Not for everyone though. But i find the bass on these purrs and feels full and balanced. They also seem to handle the higher frequencies better at higher volumes than my last 3 pairs of earbuds, which went tinny at higher volume. But these keep each frequency at a nice fidelity that i really cant fault. Those looking for clear thick bass, yes, these will provide. And the rest of the sound doesnt suffer for it. I did plan on buying a pair more than double the price, but judging from my previous pairs which were only 20 or 40 pound less, I am thoroughly impressed. They arent wearing on my ears at all, ive had no issues with comfort, no fatigue and they are secure. Id not seen a pair designed to 'lock' into the ear before and my others had to be re adjusted all the time. These stay put and arent too loose or tight against my ear canal. I think due to the differences in everyones ears, some earbuds will be hit or miss comfortwise, but Ive really landed on a pair in these, which i will no doubt want to buy again when these eventually give out, which all things do eventually! Im truely impressed with these and give them a well deserved 5/5.

Bass, space and clarity on the move
Love: I love the bass and spacious sound of these which is delivered without loss of clarity elsewhere. One can hear sub bass that is completely missing with other buds without missing out on clear mids and a detailed treble. In "Voices" from the movie "The Beach" by Dario G one hears what sounds like the low frequency sound of someone jumping into water while underwater oneself, something I never appreciated before. The treble sparkles like the fresh sound of bubbles bursting in a glass of bubbly. The soundstage is wide and involving. There is a wonderful spaciousness to the sound which feels like it's coming from well beyond one's ears. If you like feeling bass you will love these. Its not one-note or boomy but extended, punchy and resolving while maintaining clarity in the mids and highs. Sound recordings on my Amazon profile YouTube channel. Like: While the buds are quite large and stick out a bit they are quite smart and sporty looking in the two tone blue and bold design and their profile and long stem provides for a secure fit. One can change the level of bass response to taste by changing how firmly they are pushed into the ear canal. Button controls are less easy than touch but at least their positioning on the side of the body means you are not uncomfortably pushing the buds into your ears when using them, you won't inadvertently activate them when lying down with your head on your arm or while repositioning them and can operate them reliably even with sweaty fingers. The IPX4 (water splashes) rating is reassuring for use when running. The price is very good value, and even better renewed, for the sound quality and brand. Dislike: The case lid and lights look a little flimsy and cheap but the construction appears quite solid and the hinge operates reassuringly. The voice telling you the charge level and Connected status is quiet and low quality which didn't seem to bode well so the actual sound quality with music was a real surprise. These don't work with my Windows 10 laptop - while they pair they don't show up as an audio device. Conclusion: I really was surprised at how good this xb non premium earphone from a premium brand sounds and in some ways the sound impressed me more than the much lauded Sony wf1000xm4. I usually avoid paying purely for brand names where an equivalent or better unbranded alternative is available but in this case and at this new price my reverse brand snobbery is not warranted. A big negative is that mine don't work with a Windows 10 laptop but if you just need them for a phone they offer great sound quality from a premium brand at a bargain price.
