If you’re just trying to hook up your throw life preserver than this is great. This is not meant to hold anything heavier than just a few pounds. Nonetheless, for the price it’s made nicely and gets that throw life preserver out of your way.

Nice quality. We didn't end up using them, but they are very good quality.

They work okay, when you're working with something sitting over the water you'd prefer some better mechanical to keep the bolts and the nuts from falling off into the water.

Mounted directly onto my vinyl pool fence. Holds my throw rope and ring buoy at the ready just in case.
