Good as a backup charger for my phone when I'm traveling. I've lost more than one original power adapter, so this was a good alternative.

Not being USB-plug savvy, I thought I had to have some special cord for my new (used) Canon Rebel Xti. After I ordered, I realized my household actually had 2 of these on hand and then I was given 2 more. This cable is a standard USB on one end, and a mini-USB on the other (not a USB-B, but a MINI which is shaped like a rectangle with pinched-out corners on one long edge.) There are no extra features on this particular cable (my CoolPix has some transformer-thingy interrupting the cord and a regular USB/USB-B won't work even though the ends are the same.) Any USB/USB-mini cable should work.Also, although this is listed as a power-supply cord, for my camera it is the data-transfer cable to connect your camera to your computer for downloading pictures. My camera cannot take a charge through this cable.Using a cable for downloading pics takes a longer data-transfer time than using a card reader device, but the CF cards can be so fragile (pins bend easily!! beware!!) AND it takes extra time to set up the card reader and get started/finish, that I find it *faster* overall (and less risky) to use the cable. The only drawback is you are cable-downloading using your camera's battery. Just buy an extra battery (and charger if needed), keep your CF card safe, and skip the card reader; use a cable unless you are downloading many Gb at a time, every time.So look around, ask around, someone you know may be able to donate one of these standard USB/USB-mini cables for your needs. If not, this one will work just fine.

The description was proper and was the right type of cord, but it had a poor connection and continually fell out of my Canon camera.Product arrived quickly, but did not work well.

This power supply worked as intended. Didn't fall apart. I bought it in 2011 and it still works just fine. Keep in mind however that I never did use it regularly or on a consistent basis, but for the amount of time I've had this I'm satisfied with the way it kept up.

good item on time though i bought another camera in the mean time but will keep it for a spare

Cable works perfectly. It "feels" good - made out of quality materials and solidly put together. Looks just like the photo with nice strain relief transition from cable to ends.

Works great, and is compatible with my canon rebel Xt camera. Would recommend that everyone grab 2 of these in case one gets wet or damaged.

What can I say. It works to transfer files from my camera to my computer . Seems to be of good quality,
