A friend shared this cookie with me a few months back and I really liked the flavor and texture. I'm not a big fan of dates as a rule, but the filling in these is very smooth and not too sugary, sticky sweet. The cookie part is like a soft shortbread and just adds to the eating experience. The cookies arrived in good condition and were not all broken up during shipping. Will order again and would recommend.

Pictures on Amazon and box itself are misleading. The Good: Each shortbread mamoul is properly and individually wrapped. The Bad: Shortbread is all flaky instead of hard and cookie-like so mamoul is down to crumbles when you unwrap it. The Ugly: The shortbread has a bad taste, which could have been disguised by the nice taste of the date but unfortunately the thin layer of date on each mamoul is insufficient and this cookie actually has a bad taste altogether!

Very small and flakes and breaks up very easily which I guess is why they are individually wrapped. The taste/flavor was very good. Not a good value for money because you need at least 3 - 4 at a time for an adult because of how tiny they are.

These wonderful delights are like chips! One won't do! They have a unique flavor that I loved!
