Enjoyed painting my "Barely Sunrise" painting; except, be careful not to get the perimeter of canvas wet because if to wet the panel board will soften like cardboard.

I only received 4 boards not 5.

These compressed paper boards are economical with a textured work surface (much like vellum) and are particularly nice for collage, but also good for various kinds of prelim work -- sketches, studies, first drafts, improvisational pieces or trial runs of work that will later be done on different surfaces or in larger formats. The boards handle many media (collage as noted, acrylics, pencil/markers, crayons/paint sticks, charcoal, oil pastels), but probably less suited to very wet media (heavy acrylics, gels, heavy or layered matte medium, watercolor, etc.), all of which will have a higher tendency to warp the boards. An excellent product for the intended purposes.

We ordered these for at-home craft use. I think they will satisfy the need, but they are not what I thought I was ordering. They are essentially boards with some canvas-like texture, but they do not have the same look or feel as stretched canvas or other canvas boards that I have seen. I'll come back with additional feedback once we've painted on them.

This was a gift for my daughter. She liked them and has used a couple so far in her painting.

Thinner than anticipated. Felt more like poster board than a cardboard canvas but would work ok for children's craft projects/paintings.

The boards were good quality, sturdy and a better medium on which to paint than wrapped canvas.
