This is my 3rd child going off to college and my older kids always had issues with their mattress toppers. They smelled like chemicals and never stayed in place. This one is the best that I have ever bought. It fit securely on the mattress with the elastic straps and seems to stay in place. The topper was high quality and had absolutely no smell when opened from the plastic wrap. In the past, other toppers have left a horrible odor that lasts for weeks. This one fluffed up quickly and made for a great addition to the mattress. It makes the dorm bed feel incredibly comfortable. I would buy this again!!

It’s so amazing and comfy! I got it for my freshman dorm and couldn’t be more satisfied with it. It is so cooling at night, and the most comfortable thing i’ve slept on! Never had a bad night of sleep!

Very comfortable mattress topper. Doesn’t make you feel hot after laying on it. Out of the box it had a seam down the middle as it had been folded in the box when shipped. This was very easily fixed by turning over the mattress to the other side. It fit easily right back into its cover. The cover can be removed and washed. Excellent purchase.

We have not used this yet. Our son moves into his dorm in a few days and he'll set it up. I am hoping it will be fairly straightforward. I bought this because it came highly recommended in our parent college group because it is comfortable, has a washable cover, and most say there is no smell. It was pricey but I didn't want to mess around with his comfort when it comes to sleep. I will update review after a year of him sleeping on it.

I purchased this topper for my daughter. It’s her first year of college. As a mom, you want nothing but the best for your kids. I was hearing lots of great things about Sleepyhead mattress toppers but was still hesitant to spend the money, but I finally took the plunge and I’m so happy I did. We have a twin bed at home so we decided to unbox it before she goes off to college in August. My daughter said it’s super comfy! I love the washable cover and the straps that hold it in place. Her favorite part is actually how cooling it is. Twin xl sheets fit perfectly. Worth every single penny!
