Caddis Wading Systems mens Sport Boots

Difficult to find good quality women's outdoor gear! So I try the men's version sometimes. Couldn't find any in- stock women's waders or hip boots, so I tried boys ( again, unavailable in my size); checked out this manufacturers website for reviews, etc. ( again, no women's available) . So, checking various shield sizes charts I ordered these in a man's size. 6 ( comparable to women's 8) ; I normally would take a women's 7-1/2 wide but sometimes take an 8 medium. These hip boots seem to be well- made; not too heavy for me ( I'm a petite senior), good tread on the soles. I have not used then yet for fishing . I thought they might be too long but even though I am 5'3" they are ok. I could have gone with a mans size 5 but I put in an additional innersole. & plan to wear with a heavy wool sock fir insulation. Mi don't think I could have gotten a better pair for the price. Now hoping they don't leak?

Nice fit seems to be good quality.

They are just what I needed for fishing in the early spring when the water is too cold to just wear water sandals.

I am very pleased with these boots. I take a women's size 7 and1/2 to size 8 and the men's size 6 fit great. I have room to put my inserts soles in and can wear 2 pairs of socks. I use them when I go walking on the beach and can cross over the water inlets without getting wet from the waves now that the weather is turning colder. They are suprisingly comfortable even when I have gone out walking in the woods and traipsing through bogs and so far my feet have stayed warm even though the temperatures have been dropping below freezing.

Arrived quickly. Seem well made, even extra piece to tighten around the calf (top of boot) Hard to find small sizes for ladies so am happy to have found these
