Everybody's desperate to save energy and reduce costs these days. If you cook on induction hob, then a pressure cooker, once mastered, is a great solution. Cut cooking time by 50%. Cook cheaper cuts of beef and have them butter-soft in a stew. Hard-boil eggs in 6 minutes. Rice in 8 minutes. Potatoes in 8 minutes. Take your time getting used to the quirky lid system, admittedly not the easiest, but worth it.

If you are looking for a pressure cooker that lasts for a lifetime, you are looking for a Lagostina. My grandma had one, my mum has one and now I have one too. It's easy to use, easy to clean and cooks perfectly. It's a bit pricey but it will (hopefully) last forever. I got mine from the "Amazon Warehouse" in "like new" condition for half the price. A bargain!

I actually owe the original Lagostina pressure cooker that I bought in France more than 30 years ago & it still works works perfectly. However we recently had to change our HOB fr gas to Induction due to the gas supply to our building was abandoned because the gas company could not fix the gas leak to our building. Thus the result was to buy a induction pressure cooker & I ended up with this very poor performance pressure cooker. I am amazed that there was no English manual inc. & the web explanation was so poor. anyway, only thing I can say about this cooker is a very pretty & stylish cooker. But it does not do any good work within a short period.= takes a lot longer time to cook. As the result of so bad performance I decided to return this cooker. Incidentally, there is no extra such as "steaming basket" or " measuring jug" are included.

Hight quality, it's really much easier to open and close compared with the classical one, I have both and easyup makes a huge difference, super elegant, not too small, enough for a family of 3. Highly recommended!!!

The pot is the best size (5liters) can be used for few or mere people. The pot feels very solid and durable. It makes very easy and quick to prepare the food, forget about the slow cooker. A very important piece to have in the kitchen. I would reccomend this brand as it is a very long duty garanteed and some features are impeccable.

Great small pressure cooker for cooking smaller amounts. Build is solid Getting used to the opening/ closing mechanism takes a little bit of time but really it is a superior system to the other way in my opinion as there is no need for a rubber seal. Cooks everything real quick.

good item as it’s a Lagostina which we know well, as for most italian brands it’s incredible quality however I specifically ordered this item as in the picture showed plastic handles which were not the same in the pan received (metal) therefore returned. The listing needs to be updated accordingly, I also flagged it to amazon.

I bought ur pressure cooker in june 2021. Now it is not tendering anything,,, it comes with 10 years warranty . Can i replace it?

Been using it for over a year now and overall I’m pretty happy with it, this has been my preferred pressure cooker in my kitchen , Italian quality never disappoints.

Wish I never purchased this pressure cooker it didn’t come with English instructions so I don’t how to use. And now I can’t even return.
