Great vent system
This product is very easy to install. It makes a very big difference when pouring fuel from a can without a vent. Well made with brass threaded stem and has a good secure screw on cap.

Oddball product category, works fine with modifications.
I'm older and have lived a life with gas cans that actually work. As time went by I wound up with more gas cans for emergency storage and the nozzles on them are painful to use. Supporting 5 gallons for so long while filling the generator or truck is painful on my back and it seems like the "safety" features have me spilling more gas than ever. So I found some replacement nozzles but the reviews all said the vent nozzles were lousy. Searched for vent nozzles and they ALL had some aspect that got them some 1-star reviews. Settled on these. Amazing that these are even a product and are available in multi-packs!I'll be replacing the o-rings with Viton ones because the 1-star reviews for these say they crack. Nitrile for the 2 body seals and 1 for the cap should do the trick.The threaded body and cap are brass according to my magnet. The top washer and nut are steel with brass coating so any rust will be external. That should be fine. Can replace with SS if it becomes a problem.Long review short: If you get these get some Viton O-rings to avoid issues.ALSO: probably best to drain your gas jug, let the gas totally evaporate and the fumes dissipate before approaching with ANY electric drill to make the hole for these. Please be safe!

QUALITY PRODUCT
Good quality and value. When installing, place it into the hole on an angle and rotate the vent to insert the rubber lip. The provided drill bit and file was a big plus. No leaks. Good flow. I would highly recommend.
