Just gorgeous

These pebbles -- chips -- of iolite are gorgeous, but as you can see from the first image, they are teeny tiny.The product description states a weight range of 5.4 - 18.1 grams. Four out of five pebbles are below average weight. Only one weighed in at 10 grams in the 'upper' margin, and one is completely underweight at 4g.The "average pebble" size is listed as 9/16x11/16×7/8. Not sure if these numbers are intended to reflect dimensions or random samples of the longest side, but only one of my stones meets this parameter. The longest sides on three of five stones measures half an inch, and the remaining sides even smaller than the smallest listed dimensions.Nice looking stones, again, just not what I expected..
