This belt is my go-to core support aid for deadlifts and squats. It's not an intrusive or restrictive belt, so you retain your freedom of movement and flexibility. It doesn't chafe during the exercise either.I definitely feel the difference in my strength, endurance and power. I have a weak core so I use this as a supplementary aid, whilst I strengthen my core with targeted exercises.Simple to put on and off and no fiddly bits which waste time.

Whilst this may be something that you only consider if you are starting out or already into weightlifting, I can heartily recommend this to someone who may have had a weakness in their lumbar area and who is just starting weight training, either with loose weights or a weight machine, rather than power weight lifting. My only advice, if you are using this as I suggested you might, is to be very careful, since adding support to weak muscles is counter productive, since they will never recover from injury if you don’t allow them to do their own work, so be careful if using this as a rehabilitation aid.The product itself, is very comfortable, well made and effective, as you would expect coming from one of sports oldest brands. Traditionally, these belts are made of leather, but leather softens over time and I have no reason to believe that the special material that this is constructed will lose its effectiveness over time at all. The only thing that comes with that is the price tag, but in fairness it is worth the money. IT’S DOTTORE APPROVED, BUY IT!

I own both this belt and a traditional leather version, and of the two, I prefer this modern version.Instead of the usual buckle and holes you get with a leather belt, this is fastened with a clever catch that tensions the belt as you fasten it. The length is quickly adjustable with a tough velcro strip, and so far it hasn't come undone on me. However, I'm not a power lifter, and under serious strain I can't help thinking I'd feel safer with my buckled leather belt. For my usual and less strenuous purposes it's fine though.Made of synthetic fabric with a dense foam core, this belt is also a lot lighter than a leather one, so is handier for carrying to the gym. I find it comfortable in use.So, for general weight training I'd choose this. For heavier work, where I need absolute certainty, I'd still choose leather. Four stars.

Similar to other reviews, requested size large and got sent size small - a 25-31 inch belt around my waist - no chance!The belt itself appears to be very good quality. The belt is very lightweight but the fabric material is super strong. The inner layer of the belt is made from a foam mesh. The foam is so thin it is not noticeable and would offer very limited comfort however I believe the purpose is primarily to wick away sweat which it will do well. The belt is 13cm wide which should offer a good degree of support. The power buckle clamp is made entirely of metal and is firmly attached to the belt, this buckle means business and will not move or slip no matter how hard you press against it.A quality product that I would have loved to have tested to it's full capabilities if it was not for the wrong size given.

Utilisation de la ceinture lors de mes séances musculation depuis moins d'un an.Très bonne matière, ceinture lombaire confortable et pratique grâce au levier qui permet de la desserrer entre chaque exercice. Bon maintien des lombaires.La boucle en aluminium n'est pas suffisamment solide et a certainement été mal conçue (trop fine ?) car elle s'est déformée et brisée nette au niveau de la rotule.Déçu par cet achat...

Je m'attendais à un produit robuste de grande qualité qui allait durer dans le temps..., eh bien pas du tout !Après seulement 2 mois d'utilisation (non intensive) la ceinture est déjà endommagée au niveau de la boucle. Un petit bout en métal s'est cassé s'en que je m'en rende compte. Du coup ma ceinture est maintenant inutilisable. L'investissement sur la un produit de marque fut mauvaise pour cette fois la.

It's a good strength training belt. It helps keep the lower back stable by heavy squats. Happy with Reebok products, good quality
