This pillow case feels wonderful while sleeping! I don't think it prevents messed up hair upon waking very much, but it definitely enhances sleeping soundly. The only complaint I have is that it didn't stay very white upon washing via my washing machine, which is the only way I washed it. Perhaps if one hand-washes it the pillow would stay the same color.

The silk feels pretty soft and nice on the skin. The case washes well in warm water and does fine in the dryer on delicate. I won't go back to regular pillow cases. It is a pretty good silk for the price.

This product really helped with my breakouts and my dried out hair. It didn't upset my skin or pull at my hair, and made sleeping that much more comfortable. I will say that it didn't fit my standard pillow snuggly, there was a lot of extra fabric left over. But overall iI liked the product. Nice pillowcase. It is large (I got the queen). I love the zipper (no pillows falling half out of the cases). The silk is pretty thin, but that is to be expected at this price. Nice pillow case. Appears to be well-made. I threw it in the washer and dryer with no problem or shrinkage (we do have a front-loading washer so there was no risk of it getting destroyed by the center agitator thing). I purchased this b/c I'd heard it's better for your hair and skin to sleep on the smooth surface of silk. I have noticed my hair seems to be less messed up after sleeping on this pillow case. Note that this product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review, but it hasn't influenced my comments.

I'm absolutely in love with this pillowcase. It is so soft! I love that it keeps my curly/wavy hair from becoming all frizzy overnight.
