Terrible quality

First this was very inexpensive. I could not get the case on it was so tight. I was almost thinking i might put a kink in the ipad. But it went on finally. I heated it with a hair dryer for 10 minutes then stretched it on. But it did not fit right by the volume and on/off buttons. The case partially covered those. I stretched it an pulled it but it would go back over the buttons. They worked but I did not like it. Now I bought this to lay it on my desk flat on its back and i needed a case that was not "slippery". It does that very well. I liked how the case layed flat and did not slide around on my desk pad. I take notes when on the phone so i need this to be a one hand deal. So I took the liberty of modifying it with my hobby knife. I cut out the side where the pencil rests. The pencil did stick to the case before i cut that strip out but it was lackluster attached. So when i am dont cutting the buttons are open as is the charging port and the pencil lays right on the ipad. The case still stays on no problem and does not let the ipad slide when i am taking notes. So after modifications and tweaks it does exactly what I wanted it for and it does not come off the ipad and still has robust cornor protection. So this 7 dollar case modified does the job I bought it to do. I gave it three stars because I had to cut it in three places to tweak it. It is still a terrific value for me.
