SAF has given me so many happy moments as a fan that I am forever indebted to him. He gave me reasons to smile on Mondays and never feel the blues. Supporting Manchester United was one of the the best decisions of my life.The book and the language reflects the kind of person he was. Not a single chapter is slow and bot entertaining. He didn’t shy away from any controversy and didn’t held back from taking credits (which he fully deserves). Reading the book in 2023 made me relive the golden 2 decades of my life where I grew up watching Manchester United. The book is not just a biography but an emotion.Read the book to know him as a person and also the meticulous details SAF had about the game and more importantly how well he understood his team. He embraced the qualities of an excellent manager and showed how to keep everyone up even in the difficult times. It is needless to say, he is being missed and will always be missed as a manager. Someone who truly cared about the club. SAF is red and so is Manchester.

Sir Alexs time at Manchester United will live on forever. But his foray into writing ... Im afraid would not have the same enigmatic impact.A great insight into the mans decisions, trials and errors and ethos but often times slightly off and boring. While Sir Alex will always be my favorite Manager as a United fan. I cant say the same for his book.

This book is an amazing read for a United fan, all the memorable events directly from SAF himself. But if you are not, few chapters will leave you clueless. (Always good to do a little research about his achievements, before starting to read the book)I am a United fan, so I enjoyed every chapter of this book. Especially, SAF's life before United.

If one has been watching or following EPL for some time, seldom they would deny having heard about Manchester United. This book is a sneak peak into the life of the man who was incharge of the greatest foot ball club for 26 years. From his very early days at Aberdeen to the last time he walked out of the tunnel on to the 'Theatre of Dreams', its all there (atleast most of it) . Considering the amount of time he has spent at Old Trafford, most of the book revolves around Manchester United - The Club and its players. Some chapters describe the respect and dislike the man had towards his competition (Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho especially). Beckham and Rooney are spoken about in detail. The book also has some take aways for people whose job involves running or managing a bunch individuals. It goes without saying that this is a great read for all the Manchester United fans, but any football enthusiast would enjoy the book.

This book gives you insight into why Sir Alex who was at the peak of his powers in manchester quit which as a united fan hurt many people. The insights into the player handling, his leadership skills, observation, penchant for working with people, hunger for more success, planning for the future - all in all leaves you in a refreshing mood.

Loved it. Gives you an insight on what happens or happened behind the scenes as he managed Manchester United. It tells you more about your fav Mufc player. There is something for every football lover in this book. Highly recommend

If you want to learn football better then learn it from the legends! You need not to be a Man U fan to read him...I loved it and I'm a Real Madrid fan by heart and soul!
