If you're a programmer or CS student with no experience in AI, this is a great place to start. It's more of a broad overview of AI rather than a focus on one specific topic like machine learning. I mostly enjoyed the chapters on evolutionary algorithms. The only downside is that there was no mention of Monte carlo tree search which is a pretty important and fundamental AI algorithm.
