I got a Mongoose scooter for my son, I don't recall the exact model but it was one that had about 12" bike tires on it that can be used off road. Anyway, after a couple months of having that, the front wheel started to wobble pretty hard. I ride bikes, but I'm not a guy who knows his way around every little part so I wasn't exactly sure what the problem was. Everything felt tight, except for the center of the wheel. After talking to a buddy, he said the bearings in the hub were probably shot and that I should find replacements. I read the reviews for this one and it seemed that others had the same problem and had good results with these.Once I had them in hand, I found a YouTube video that showed me how to disassemble the wheels and replace the bearings. When I pulled mine apart, I was a bit surprised to see that it seemed like someone just dumped a handful of ball bearings into the hub and called it a day. I swapped out both sides, put it back together, and she's working beautifully now. Although the back one didn't seem like it needed it, I had enough for both wheels and just swapped that one anyway.The whole scooter rides as smooth as butter now and everything is just far more sturdy. I can't speak to how these work outside of the particular scooter I swapped them out on, but I'd imagine they'll still work really well. I'd recommend these as a replacement if you're looking to do the same thing.

I just bought a used Huffy Beach cruiser. I just replaced the front fork and bottom bracket bearings. I opened the front axle and both sides have 10 LOOSE bearings. I measured and found this product. One side this product fit perfectly but the other side you still have to use loose bearings...

Thanks to Jaceyon, Amazon, and mostly to reviewer M.A.A.-NYC who had a problem similar to mine. I ordered 3 Mongoose EXPO scooters from Amazon. Two of them were missing loose wheel ball bearings in the 12 inch wheels. I called Mongoose and they were nice enough to send out a new wheel in 2 to 3 weeks. The grandkids wanted their scooters NOW ! While looking for ball bearings, I can across these, got them in 2 days, and the kids were on their way. THANK YOU MAA-NYC FOR HELPING ME GETTING THESE SCOOTERS ON THE ROAD. A perfect fit for Mongoose Expo scooters.

While doing some preventative maintenance on a 12” child bike, I discovered NO BEARINGS on the Front Axle, only thin metal to metal sleeves with the cavities where bearings are to be installed. Upon further PM, I found bearings are installed on the rear axle. This can be easily tested by turning the bike upside down (resting on the handle bars and seat) and spinning the front wheel - it should spin freely for at least 20 turns. If it rotates 3-5 turns, you’re going to be needing these……..but measure for your size first.

It just lasted one day inside my bike front wheel as bearings before broken.
