Far better than other $400 scams on YouTube for hair growth massages
I first found the concept of hair re-growth massages watching a YouTube video on the channel "What I've Learned". He does very informative and objective reviews of various health topics, from physical to social to psychological. He quoted some information that was presented by another YouTuber, Rob English, about head massages for hair regrowth efficacy. This in turn had a video pop up by some other YouTuber who has a website that is selling a device very similar to this, but with far less features, for $400. I decided that was ridiculous to pay, so I began to google search for alternatives and found a post on a blog that led me to this on Amazon. The other device does not heat and I don't think it has different modes like this one. This device, on setting A, I think is the best for hair regrowth massages. On that setting, it squeezes in two separate spots one after the other, first lower and then higher ... then a few seconds inflated, then release, repeat. I didn't want to massage my head manually 10 minutes a day for the best efficacy, so I chose this. I found another YouTube video by a doctor that suggested to do the massages just before a shower, so all the stuff released in the scalp from the massage, could be washed out.Other good features I see is this has a 10 minute time for setting A, maybe for B and C too, but that is the correct time to massage for hair regrowth and its a good idea not to keep this pressure on your head for much longer. It seems to relax me too so hopefully regrowing hair and the added benefit of stress relief. Of course the other settings could be beneficial for mild to severe headaches or stress, etc. Combining the fact that this has a heater, that would be all around a great thing.Do note, I didn't realize at first why the M (mode button) wasn't changing anything. Then reading the instructions on the device it said something about used while charging. At that time, I realized this has a battery built into it, so you have to charge it up from the wall charger and then unplug. It's convenient for sure and mobile, but I see it being an issue some day when the battery is depleted and likely not replaceable. Hopefully its a Lithium (and not a Nicad) and a brushless motor for the pump, but for the price its hard to say. It just says on the back its a 7.4V transformer to the 2600mAh battery. There are two other buttons, besides power and M for mode. One looks like a wifi symbol, and that's to adjust the intensity of how much air is being pressurized, and the other is a squiggly line that is for turning heat on and off. Other reviewers said the heat works great. I think if you use the heat a lot it could burn out an element eventually, so I'm going to use that sparingly to conserve the life. You can get a $7.99 three year extended warranty through Asurion/Amazon before checkout, but the webpage doesn't say anything about from the manufacturer by default. I would recommend the external insurance / warranty. It's probably a very good idea since a few reviewers stated theirs didn't last that long i.e. the balloon part broke, battery wore out after a year, controller lit up but stopped responding. I would guess though that some reviews that said it didn't work, just didn't know that they had to unplug it from the wall charger at some point and I don't think it automatically turns off the display power, unless you press the power button, but not sure. I recommend it for the value and benefits of possible hair regrowth and stress relief.

A good alternative to other Hair Growth Bands.
I bought this head massager as a replacement for another similar hair growth band, which had sustained leakage of air from the band in less than two years. This was my second such band, as both had sustained this problem of air leakage hence failing to inflate and becoming unworkable. Having read other reviews over similar issues, this was suggested as a replacement at a much lower price to function very similar. The price of the other replacement band was approximately 3 times the price of this band, so I decided to try this one instead. Having used it a few times now, I find it is very well made, and holds a long charge enabling me to have a ten minute session for about two weeks before a charge is needed. It is comfortable to wear and does the job. My only comment is it is a little gentler than the other hair band, but despite this it still works well. From my short experience with this head band, I believe it is a good alternative to this other band at a much reduced price. The air bag is zipped into a material head band, which implies that if the air bag should malfunction, you may be able to contact the company and purchase a replacement air bag as they are easily removed should that be required.

This thing is amazing! Ignore the bad reviews!! Here's why:
I started using the Afunso due to really bad scalp circulation, which has caused some thinning of hair. After about 6 months of use I can confidently say that it has brought back the hair I've lost on top! Plus it feels wonderful, especially if you have bad scalp circulation. You have to be consistent though - use it for a full cycle in the morning and before bed. And be patient! A hair growth cycle is around 3 months, so don't expect to see results any time before then; realistically, give it 6 months.I can almost guarantee you that all the negative reviews here are from folks who either didn't use it consistently twice a day, or they had unrealistic expectations; thinking that they would regain a full head of hair in a couple of months.Save yourself thousands of dollars in "miracle cures" and get the Afunso, you'll be glad you did. OK now I'm starting to sound like a spokesperson for them, lol, but I'm not getting a penny for saying these things, I'm just very, very happy with their product.

Flawed Design
Purchased this item 39 days ago. When it still worked, it provided a unique, relaxing, head massage that was enjoyable. However, after just 39 days, the inflatable intertube inside the headband has broken. That's it. No more massage. Garbage. The return window closed 9 days ago :( Wasted money :(

Great for overused forehead/eyebrow muscles
I purchased this product after seeing a doctor to confirm that I was experiencing a problem with muscle strain in my forehead/eyebrow area instead of a nerve problem. At its worst, the muscle strain was bad enough to cause uncontrollable eye twitching.I used setting "A" for about 7 times with high heat before the device showed its low battery indicator after a full charge. It could go a few more times after that, but not much more. I have yet to use the "B" or "C" settings. A side note, a pro tip for charging quickly is to use a charger meant for tablet devices. It sounds too good to be true, but the product worked day one. I use it every four hours and do a hot compress halfway between each massage. My symptoms have improved during my first week and I will update this post in a month.
