It’s runs small, and has little buttons on the side that dig into your head. The quality seems to be ok and the design is pretty.

The horse I was riding for a lesson yesterday spooked and bucked and took off with me yesterday and I landed on my head. The helmet isn’t even dented and I only have a mild concussion. I’ve ordered another identical one as a replacement because it likely saved me serious injury!

Troxel helmets are the best and most affordable equestrian riding helmets available. This helmet has a great fit, and a subtle, but very nice design that goes all around the back. Great for adults who don't want too childish of a pattern.

Purchased through the Amazon warehouse at almost half price! I already have one Troxel helmet with sure fit system. It's like wearing a ball cap! Much more superior design than the old dial a fit system. Super comfy and breathable! I do not ride without a helmet...ever. Need to protect those noggins ladies!!
