Good quality tack.

These worked great for my project. I read a lot of reviews of people saying they had a lot of bent tacks so I bought 2 boxes - out of one box (I used 84 for my project) I only bent 3 tacks leaving me with one unopened box. I did purchase an Estwing tack hammer here for this project, first time I've used one so that likely helped. I did a previous project with a regular hammer and we don't want to discuss how many bent tacks are sore digits I ended up with so I might advise a tack hammer as well. Great price and good quality!

These are lousy tacks. I tried using them to tack art canvas to stretcher bars with a magnetic tack hammer.They were so dull they mostly bounced off the wood without starting.Oddly the 3/8 in tacks from the same manufacturer (hillman) are very sharp and work quite well.I’m going pitch these 5/8 in ones and find another brand like c s Osborn.As I said, the 3/8 in hillman tacks are very good. Don’t buy this size….

Nothing special, just standard 5/8" carpet tacks. Pretty standard issue.

Not too much to say other than these tacks seem to be well made.
