KomodoGrow Your Own Tortoise Grass

The media could not be loaded. Instructions are easy to follow and grass grew tall within 5 days! I could actually see visible growth every 12 hours of checking on the grass.I trim the grass every few days to add to my tortoises food and it is continuing to grow back. My tortoise seems to enjoy munching on it as well. Cheap price and worth it for a little treat. Might be too small if you have a large tortoise— if that is the case then buying grass seeds in bulk made for grazing animals is a better option. For a baby tortoise or a small tortoise this is a great food and possible enrichment item if you put it inside the enclosure.

I killed it. Literally. I planted the seeds, watered, out the lid on, covered it and forgot all about it. They grew and grew inside the closed container and then died before I ever remembered they were there. But the point is IT GREW. Buy it! Your little gazer will love it.

This group amazingly fast! Our tortoise is not quite sure whether or not he likes it. It does seem to be a great value for the price.

This is super easy and fun to grow. My students loved growing it and my tortoise loved eating it!

Perhaps I didn’t get the directions straight, it couldn’t get the seeds to sprout.

Good for indoor growing, didn't do well out in the Florida sunshine.

The potting soil contained perlite so I replaced it with tortoise safe potting mix that I use for all my tortoise plants. Most of the seeds didn't grow. Would not recommend.
