3.5 stars---simple and predictable read
3.5 stars---LUKE is the fifth and final installment in M.Malone’s contemporary, new adult Blue Collar Billionaires romance series focusing of the five Marshall brothers-Tank, Finn, Gabe, Zack and Luke. This is youngest brother Luke Marshall, and Seven’s storyline. LUKE can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading the series in order for back story, history and cohesion as there is too much information missing to understand the family dysfunction and the brothers’ connection to one another. Some background: The Marshall family consists of 5 brothers and half brothers; three mothers; and one father with ties to the Irish mob. Patriarch Max Marshall is a billionaire who ‘earned’ his money through mafia transactions, and had bequeathed each of his sons an early inheritance. The Blue Collar Billionaires series is their stories.Told from alternating first person points of view (Luke and Seven) LUKE is the culmination of a building storyline wherein our hero, a child prodigy, will finally meet the father he never knew, and the online hacker he has considered a friend for close to ten years. Luke has always been a bit of a loaner; with few friends and only his mother as family and confidant. Seven and Luke will finally meet when the FBI forces our duo into an unscheduled meeting, but a meeting that will find Luke and Seven on a path to love and a happily ever after. Meanwhile, the family begins preparations for Tank and Emma’s upcoming nuptials.Luke and Seven’s introduction to one another comes as a surprise to Luke as he never considered his online friend to be a woman. The introduction between Luke and Seven is built upon a lie, and Luke soon discovers that Seven’s appearance has much less to do with meeting Luke and more to do with a possible betrayal against Luke and his family. Seven’s past in the foster care system has left our heroine scarred and damaged; Luke’s life growing up without his father has been a struggle but more so for his mother who has had to work harder to keep food on the table and clothes on their backs. The $ex scenes are erotic and seductive. The world building continues to focus on the Marshall brothers, their relationships with one another; and their mutual connection through an absent and troubled father. Luke’s relationship with his half brothers continues to grow, as our hero begins to accept the new additions to his ever-expanding family. Luke will finally meet the man he has never known, but is it too little, too late for a father whose life revolves around crime and illegal activities?LUKE is a simple and predictable read; an interesting look at the youngest son of an absent father; a father whose life revolved around crime and the Irish mob. The premise focuses on Luke’s relationship with Seven, and the real reason Seven has sought out a face to face meeting with her virtual, online friend. The characters are engaging and colorful; the happily ever after is not unexpected but a twist to the family dynamics changes all of the brother’s lives for the future. The conflict resolution was disappointing and felt rushed to the finish. I was hoping for some more angst and intrigue.

Techies deserve love too
I finally got around to reading Luke's story and it was all that I hoped for and more. Luke such a mystery self reflective character one wonders what would ever draw him out. Enters the introverted Seven. Having her own set of demons to wrestle with, she must come out and face one of the hardest decisions she has ever made. Choosing family over friendship. As we navigate through this story there is more than what meets the eye. A little suspense as father Max plays an important role in whether Seven and Luke will have their happily ever after. You'll enjoy this story because you finally get to see Tank and Emma marry. You get to see the bonding of the brothers. You get to see how Luke handles relationships outside of cyberspace. In the end you are left smiling.

Luke
Wow, loved this series, started out, Luke being the computer geek, but also the quiet one growing up by himself, where the other brothers at least knew they had a sibling. But they were quick to welcome him, and accept him into their family despite their feelings for their father. Luke was struggling with his cyber friend who suddenly just dropped him, ignoring him, not knowing why, when they had been communicating for past 10 yrs or so. FBI shows up one day, needs his help, consulting per say, someone listed him as a contact, Sarah, otherwise known as Seven his cyber contact- who he cannot let on he knows that way, he convinces them that they met through security work, somehow buy it, they are released. But what is up with Sarah/ seven? Shows up here after her silence? There are lies, secrets, conspiracy, lots more to this story, you will definitely want to read, interesting?? Hmmmm!

Is Maxwell Marshall really dead?!
The red feather that mysteriously appeared inside of Luke's mailbox, led me to believe that Maxwell Marshall, their father is not really dead. He may have faked his own death. I remember the statement he made to Luke, while having lunch, just before Luke handed him over to the Feds. Max, said "the Phoenix always rides even from his own demise. Makes you wonder doesn't it?!😲😮. I'm so glad that the Marshall Brothers, are all together and they are one big happy family😁💟👌

Good romance, and good ending to the series
This is a good romance, and a good ending to the series. I liked both Luke and Seven, and thought they were perfect for each other. No spoilers here, but It was sweet what Luke did when he figured out why Seven was acting so strange. One thing I really liked about all the books in this series was how the brothers really became more of a family, and stood by each other, as the series went on. All of their moms and significant others became family, too. It was really sweet.

Nice Conclusion to The Blue Collar Billionaire Series!!!
Luke's story was a little different from the others, but different in a good way. I liked each of the Blue Collar Billionaire' story's. They each had an element of intrigue and a very nice back story. Luke the computer genus finally got the chance to meet the cyber ace hacker who had gotten him out a few jams over the years. And to his surprise, the ace hacker was a small and sexy young lady he called 7.. To his amazement the two had always had a connection that he could never explain. The story with his father was a little sad, but it fit within the story nicely. This was a nice conclusion to the Billionaire Blue Collar Brothers Series..

Great Story
I looked forward to reading this book, the story of Luke, and it did not disappoint. I loved the connection and burgeoning love between Luke and Seven, just wished the book was a little longer. Since this is the end of the series, I wish we had a closing chapter that told us how everyone was doing a few years down the road. Maybe the author could do a short Christmas novella. I don't usually like them but I would buy it to read more about this motley crew.I really enjoy Ms. Malone's books; I read the Alexander family series and this series, so I look forward to reading her books in the future.

Blue-Collar Billionaires
Wow! I knew there was a good reason for my like of M. Malone's books, this series has just proved it to me. This series is about 5 brothers, their families, the women they fall in love with and, the father they didn't really know. Each book centres around 1brother and the woman he loves, and his relationship with his new brothers, their families & their reaction to the father whose come back into their lives. These are of course basic romance stories, but with the Malone extra. I've just read the series back to back to back, this is how I'd recommend reading them, as they are like a continuing story, evolving as they go. Excellent series, sad it's finished but happy with the ending, hope you'll read and enjoy soonSue P

I have enjoyed every book in this series of Blue-Collar Billionaires
I have enjoyed every book in this series of Blue-Collar Billionaires, sadly it is the last one. Each one can be read alone but are written in such away that you want to know what happens next. The portrayal of Luke highlights his feeling of isolation as a computer genius & baby of the family, but when required he knows how to protect those he loves & trusts although it initially leaves him with great sense of guilt for his actions. I particularly like how all the Marshall brothers & their ladies look out for each other. I will be very interested to see what Ms Malone has in store for us next as the Alexanders' series which was where the Blue-Collar series was started from also only has one storyline left to tell.

What an ending!
Luck is the youngest of the Marshalls, he's always been on his own. Seven has had a crush on Like for years after she looked him up online, but they have never met, only spoken online for years!
