Allure (A Leathers Novel)

This is one of those books that snuck up on me that I had on my Kindle and I wasn’t disappointed. Brooklyn and Six had both wanted each other for a long time. However, Brooklyn was his best friend’s younger sister, and she was only 17, while he was 22.For a long time, Brooklyn had her eye on Six and knew she wanted him but stayed away because she knew he had a girlfriend. When tragedy happens and she finds herself in his tattoo parlor, both of them feel the pull they have toward each other.Brooklyn has such a hard life at home. Her dad doesn’t make life easy for her and she knows being with Six will only be that much harder. But when you’re in love, you have to do what you have to do, right?Brooklyn opens herself up to Six and he really amazes me at how he just adores her. I do have an issue with him because I do feel like he did move a little too fast for her but to each his own. Their chemistry is certainly off the charts and as they find themselves in danger, he knows he will stop at nothing to protect her, even if it means losing her.“Be careful, sweetheart. You’re gonna make me fall hard for you. Then you’ll be stuck with me forever.” – SixAllure surprised me with the blend of suspense along with a romance. Also, one thing about Six I liked was not only was he a tattoo artist but worked at Leathers, a strip club, and soon we should be getting more into the guys at Leathers! I will be waiting!

My interest in this book surged several weeks back when Ms. Weatherford posted a small, yet steamy, snippet about her upcoming release "Allure". Since I had always enjoyed her past releases, I clicked on the link for the teaser. That little morsel she shared was so hot I promptly sent her a message to inform her that she had made me "choke on my cereal"... it was not a lie...and in that moment I began my love affair with Six Jagger.To start, I love the way that this author puts words to paper. She has an easy flow that pulls you along while wrapping the arms of her story around you and before you know it, you are living in her world. So in my reality you are one of two types of people..A) A huge fan of Lacey Weatherford or B) You haven't read any of her books...if you had, you would be type A.Six Jagger is just yummy, there is really no better word for him. He is the perfect mix of sweet and naughty. He makes no excuses for his Alpha ways and I LIKE THAT! The first time Brooklyn innocently entered his life, he knew he had to know her...even if she was too young for him."I was totally killing my whole self-imposed 'too young' restriction at the moment because, for some reason watching her walk away and not knowing when I might be able to see her again just seemed too much to handle. I was greedy..."Brooklyn Hall is a heartbroken 17 year old who just lost her brother. She is spunky, funny and just strong enough to hold her own with Mr. Jagger. She never forgot about him either..."Yes he was older than me, but I liked that about him. He was such a ...man. Not some wannabe like all the silly high school boys who surrounded me on a daily basis. He'd become the guy I'd judged all other guys against, and found them all sadly lacking."Together, these two are like gas to a fire. The passion and intensity of their forbidden relationship jumps off the pages and twists your heart until you are gasping for air. As they struggle to keep their relationship quiet, I found myself NOT wanting to turn the page. What if someone found out? What if her Dad refused to let them see each other... what if it just wasn't meant to be???**blogger dramatically fans her face, heartbroken by the idea**But I pushed on and read this book in one sitting! Their love story is as simple and sweet as love at first sight... and as complicated and gritty as forbidden love gets...Ms. Weatherford was somehow able to balance the best of both of these and write an addictive story with even more addictive characters.I gave this book 5 hearts because every woman deserves to be loved like Six loves Brooklyn.

Every once in a while a book takes me by surprise. The e-book goes on sale, sounds good, cover looks hot but this is a very well written book, interesting story with even a little bit of dangerous, a forbidden romance, & just the right amount of dirtiness! Brooklyn is only 17 years old so that is why Six has worshipped her from a distance. After the death of her brother Brooklyn comes to Six for a memorial tattoo. Their connection is sealed once he touches her skin, the first of many forbidden moments between the two. Six's infatuation with Brooklyn isn't one sided - she has also longed to meet Six & thinks he is unbelievably hot. And he isn't just a tattoo artist - he is also an exotic dancer & Brooklyn gets to experience her own Magic Mike moment with Six! They come from completely different backgrounds which adds to the obvious age concerns which force them to hide their romance but these two can't keep their horny hands off each other. Brooklyn's father is the Mayor & only cares about appearances, once he finds out Six & Brooklyn are being physical the whole story combusts. Six is incredibly protective of Brooklyn & he never fails to let her know how crazy he is about her. Brooklyn might be young but she is mature & fits perfectly with Six & even though their romance might have started quickly she is all for moving it forward. After a ton of drama involving Brooklyn's father there is a fantastic ending! Really enjoyed this story, had all of the elements I love in a story, and it was off the charts hot!

So we have "Six" the hot sexy tattoo artist, Brooklyn 17 almost eighteen and always had a thing for Six, a friend of her older brother.When she walks into his tattoo parlour one night asking for an illegal tattoo in memory of her brother she lost the previous year, he just can't refuse her and finds he also can't fight either his attraction to her or his love.They try to hide their blossoming love from her father, who cares for nothing and no one, except appearances for his political career as Mayor.Twists and turns and their battle to survive his cruelty. This story has you in knots and rooting for these characters.I loved the characters and i loved the story. I had no problem with the age difference, lets face it, that part is pretty realistic, happens daily and its fiction !!I loved the the intensity of their relationship and i loved how they dealt with everything thrown at themGREAT READ I have no hesitation recommending it !!

allure amazing storyline loved it & characters,seventeen year old Brooklyn had her eye on sexy tattoo artist six jagger,she's pretty sure he doesn't even know she exists.he's a friend of her older brother six is five years older,he's had a crush on Brooklyn first time he laid eyes on her a year ago.he wiped her off his list fate has other uses she walks into inked edges were he works.barriers come tumbling down,explosive ride lust,passion,desire,wasn't end was beginning of a beautiful relationship.Loved it from start to finish,loved six & Brooklyn sexual chemistry,can't wait for seduce in November.

This was a really good storyline with traditional boy, girl attraction they fight against as she's too young. Six is the hot tatooist stripper, Brooklyn, his recently deceased friends sister. Their love is sweet, her dad horrendous. The problems they have to face horrific.Why unsure? I think because for me, there wasn't enough detail in parts so it didn't read as well as it could. People are introduced and then not used so why have them there? As I read, I could see where they would have worked and upped the story.However I enjoyed it. I assume it's a NA novel because of content.

Brooklyn is the daughter of the mayor who's campaigning for senator and its all about image.Six is the best friend of her dead brother, and a tattoo artist who Brooklyn has had a crush on for a while now.Unknown to Brooklyn, six has had his eye on her for a while too only to back off due to her age.This book had a great love story with great characters that had me reading in one sitting.

...I don't, but I'd like some, thank you very much.I loved this book, as I loved Lacey's 'Crush' series.From the beginning this had me hooked. Six...Tattoo artist by day and exotic dancer by night? Yes please!Brooklyn...A mature-for-her-age 17 year old with a huge crush on six. Lucky!A great read that I just had to complete on one sitting.
