GUNMATE Deluxe Scoped Rifle Case

Not a bad case for the money. Would be nice if there was a couple of pockets, but for the price you pay I think what you get is fair.With scope attached, it's a little tight fit, but you can still zip it with no problem. The cushion is alot thicker than I expected it to be. I use this case to transport when I don't feel like using my hard shell case.

The sizing is on the small side, be warned. It’ll PROBABLY still fit your rifle and scope. But barely. The case I received was definitely not 48”. I just put my smaller 22 in here and I have to squeeze to get that zipper shut like I’m wearing pants that are from Baby Gap or something. The rifle doesn’t even have its magazine in it. Also, it only has one Zipper, not dual zip — which really sucks for many reasons: mostly because it isn’t easily lockable like they describe. Last but not least: if you look close you will notice it has no pockets. Might as well just use a soft guitar case to store your rifle, at least then you’ll have some pockets, enough room, and a decent zipper. Padding is great. Case looks clean and nice. Wish it wasn’t so mediocre and disappointing.

I really like this rifle case. For $25 it is a great buy. Too bad that it is not tall enough for my scoped rifle. If your rifle has a pistol grip, or if you have a high mounted scope with a large objective, tall turret, or illuminated reticle with a large switch up on the ridge of the scope, it is unlikely that this case will be large enough.

I have several long guns, most of which are carbine size with scopes attached. As an expedient, they've been stored in inexpensive soft cases that were available from a LGS. The issue is that those cases are several inches longer than needed. I have a couple of GunMate range bags that have worked well so I thought I'd try a GunMate rifle case. The 40" case turns out to be the right length for all of my scoped lever action, bolt action and semi-auto carbines. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because durability is yet to be determined and because it would nice if the case height was just a bit larger. Meanwhile, I've ordered a couple more of this item

So far so good, kind tight the initial closing. Zips and closes good. Fits like a glove

Take a close look at the picture of the case and you'll see it tapers too much to the front and isn't high enough for anything other than a small scope. I couldn't a Diana Air rifle with a scope because of the scope, remember this is a scoped rifle case, so I tried a 22" JM 930 shotgun and the barrel was too large for the skinny front case, worthless. I suggest you look at other cases and pass this one by. To make matters even worse, the seller shipped the lone case in a box so large 25 of them could've fit in the huge box, ridiculous!

When I got this I ordered two more for my other rifles. What more can I say. The fit was great. The foam was excellent quality and supported my rifle and 410 shotgun. The outer material is durable and classy looking. It may be too short for larger shotguns but I love them. Cases of this quality cost 3 to 4 times more elsewhere. The zipper is also of superior quality. If you measure carefully, you will not be disappointed.

And the headline says it all! I've bought five of these so far, and they are quite simply the best soft case, at any price. And for the price I paid for them, they are just one heck of a bargain! The quality is outstanding, and they protect my rifles quite, quite well! I get them within a couple of days of ordering, and I just couldn't be more happy with this product! Props to ya!

Good: Came fast exactly as described Bad: The way it was packaged, I have bought several gun cases over the years and never ever seen one packaged like this. It is 44" long,it was scrunched into a smallish box folded twice, it looks like hell, I don't think it will recover it's shape, very thick foam .Disappointed in the care shown should have been put into a long box to lie natural. Probably will be throwing it out if shape doesn't come back. Shame for cheap packaging.

Great case has nice thick padding so it takes the bumps and bangs with out heavily hurting your Rifle. Price is great deal shipping was fast and quick to the door. Would recommend this for the hunter that wants to go the extra to protect there gun in the field. Nothing ruins a hunt more when your gun is banged around and nocks the sighting of the scope out .

Using to transport an air rifle with scope.Appears to be well padded.Also enough room for a couple tins of pellets.Only gripe I have is the handle, seems a bit cheap, should use thicker straps.
