This is not a long term review, only one use so far and I don't generally review anything until I've used it at least a few times, but given the simple construction of these bannetons, as long as the instructions are followed I think they will last a long time.I used a sifter to evenly dust the inside and put my usual whole wheat dough ball in it. In the past I always wrapped the boule in a towel and am very familiar with the consistent results. The banneton left the very cool looking rings in the dough, and as the instructions said, they draw a bit of moisture out of the skin of the dough, which released cleanly from the banneton. The slightly more dry surface was also noticeable when making the slits in the top. In the past I've always used a very sharp Japanese knife to do this but the lame' does it more easily and cleanlyUltimately the results were about the same as always but the presentation looked more professional and they are less fussy to use than the towel method. I'd recommend them to any serious bread baker that is curious.

I have used these baskets multiple times since receiving them, they are perfect! They came just as explained in the description and have been so easy to use! Would definitely recommend this as a purchase or present for the Breadmaker in your household.

I bought two of these when I started my sourdough journey at home, and I now have 4. I plan to buy more as well if I continue to increase my sales!The baskets are light weight, sturdy, and durable. The dough falls right out of the basket, and they require very little cleaning or maintenance.I notice a huge difference in my loaves after baking when I use these for proofing vs. a glass bowl. Cannot recommend these enough!!The seller is very helpful as well with answering customer questions.

The baskets are well made, but they are hard to clean if you are using them without the liners.... which I like to do to get the basket weave pattern on the dough.... the razor works for about one time and then it is too dull. I wish they were a bit sharper and I wish there were more. I love the dough scraper. It is great!

Perfect tools for a beginner bread maker.

After hearing complaint after complaint regarding the quality of Bannetons from mold, gapping, splintering etc. I was apprehensive about even using a Banneton for my bread baking.The set I purchased was fabulous and the quality was spectacular. I just recently started my sourdough bread baking journey and must say that this set is of very good quality. I’ve used the set twice now and was most pleased that my dough did not stick to the banneton baskets after overnight cold proofing, thanks to the instructions sent to me by the owner after purchase. This made my sourdough journey less daunting. I would highly recommend!

I was having a lot of issues with my sourdough baking, specifically when it was in the 'proof' stage. I often found whatever I used would aggressively stick to the kitchen towel I used in a bowl. I admit that my technique has improved at the same time, but I found this to be immediately much easier to work with.I use the banneton with the included liner, and I found that as long as it's all well floured, the liner peels right off the dough.Using one of these helps in a couple ways, for one, it helps promote a bit of airflow to help develop the outside of the dough (the 'skin' as I tend to call it), it also helps to wick moisture away from dough which also helps to develop the skin.Plus getting the bread lame for scoring the dough, it's really quite a good package.
