This for my mother who struggled with ear plugs that are mandatory with most hearing aids. With this device she can slip earphones over her head. So far it seems to work well. The volume control is responsive to permit comfortable adjustment for hearing. One button turns it on.

Worked well with headphones but ear buds had a lot of noise (feedback) due to fitting

It works great with or without hearing aids. I recommend this for anyone who needs the tv turned up or can't hear a voice from more than 5 feet away. I also recommend this as a gift from anyone who is exhausted from yelling clearly and slowly to a loved one. In many ways, it has saved my hearing as well. The reasons I did not give it 5 stars: (1) the volume control is too small for my dad's fingers to control (he's 83); (2) the clip is really tight and difficult for him to clip on anything--yet the cord is long enough to easily set it on the table or arm of a chair; (3) for some reason, it turns itself off every few hours and he doesn't realize he can't hear anymore; and (4) the headset is flimsy and slips around and off his ears. I gave it 4 stars because (1) it's so portable he can slip it into his pocket when he's on the move; (2) it works great--volume and clarity; (3) the rubberized case is awesome since we've dropped the unit many times already; and (4) it is totally affordable. When necessary, I can speak quietly and directly into the amplifier and he hears me well. A weird plus is he said with a smile now he looks like everyone else wearing headsets!

I am hard of hearing and have hearing aids but because of back round I need the sound directly into my ears. I had a headset setup on my old TV when I setup the new TV I was unable to use the headsets. So I ordered the SuperEar Model SE7500 for Seniors tried it out right away and it worked perfectly Well worth the money.

WHY would you have an auto shut off for an assisted hearing device?!?!?! this makes absolutely no sense. I will be returning it I bought this for my 85yr old father in law because I got tired of always losing traditional hearing aids. The quality is great and everyone (he goes to an Alzheimer day center and has aids) was super excited about him using it. However, the auto shut off is a HUGE problem! With Alzheimers he doesnt understand to turn it on every 45 minutes, and the aids are too busy to remember and neither am I. This sadly ended up being a waste of money and now we still do not have the problem solved providing hearing assistance that works for him

My grandfather is 100 next month and hearing aids are not enough anymore so he misses a lot of conversations with the family. I took a chance on this amplifier to try and help him feel like part of the family again. I’m so happy to say IT WORKS!! He used it over his hearing aids and did not have any feedback and he could hear everyone chatting and interact with us so much better! Bonus result…we could watch TV with him at a reasonable volume instead of wanting to plug our ears!

This is a great device, it is the most powerful hearing amplifier i have found. My father is 85 years old and has extreme hearing loss. I've tried several devices from this company mostly because dad doesn't take care of them well or they just don't have a long shelf life. However when there isn't many alternative you use what you have. What i would recommend is take the extended warranty. Seniors can be a little rough with these things. It comes with a carrying case, over the ear headset, a second ear bud type headset. It also automatically shuts off every 45 minutes to conserve the AAA batteries. easy LED display button lets you know when its on.

I bought this for my mother who is very, very hard of hearing. We have a weekly video call which was becoming almost impossible even with her hearing aids. I sent these to her as a gift and she was able to get them working easily. What a difference they have made! I don’t have to yell, mum can easily hear the television, conversations and more. I just wish I had bought them sooner!

Well recieved , quite fast . Got it for my 80 plus year old dad who is 90% over deaf. After trying on , his feedback was that the static and background noise was louder than the sounds of people speaking . He tried another brand while he was hospitalised and it works great . But he wanted a cheaper one . So give this brand a try. Very thankful Amazon has a fast fuss free and easy return with no charges with a paid return DHL label ( which you have to print out yourself ) provided by the seller once Amazon has processed your return . Has since received the refunds back into my card . Had proceeded to buy the more expensive brand and it works and my dad is happy with it . For Amazon’s excellent returns policy , I will be delighted to shop for more of my products on Amazon .

Tres satisfait.

I bought these after looking round the options for improved hearing or listening devices, with the admittedly guilty intention of listening to conversations, just out of curiosity, (of course). But mainly for my Nan. These looked like one of the better products compared to some cheaper ones, that were closer to kids toys There's also much more expensive items in the style of headphones,mainly for watching TV wirelessly . They are stated for that intention though as well as a sound amplifier for all types of background noise. Including outdoor sounds like traffic or birds and of course conversations. They also looked more practical in some ways than a hearing aid,in the way that they take AAA batteries, can be used with earphones and also that the volume can be easily adjusted from the side of the device.Making it easy to use for someone elderly and for the price seems to be much more reliable and performing than some of the in-ear devices sold on amazon. I tried this myself beforehand just to check that it worked, i wasnt sure what to expect, as i would say i have normal to good hearing and am use to listening to things generally at quite low volumes. So i thought that this might turn me into Clark Kent or something, it was interesting to say the least. First i could hear myself breathing,then walking, then it sounded like i was having my very own party just with the cruel absence of actual people. Just lots of birds (no pun intended). It went pretty loud and made the tv sound like a cinema, i dont know if it only picks up certain frequency's, therefore making it better for people with bad hearing rather than better, but it does pick up voices pretty good. Getting to the point, i did finally allow my nan to try this, and straight away she noticed a big difference watching tv and was able to turn the subtitles off straight away, which are something she always has turned on. She also said that the volume went very loud on the device,were with me it just amplified everything and gave me a cinema experience. which is why i think this may work better for someone with already bad hearing rather than good.However i will check this and edit my review in next few days it isnt this good, but im pretty sure it is. And it definitely goes loud at 50+ db, but BE CAREFUL IF USING WITH DECENT HEARING OR THE HEADPHONES (not earphones) SUPPLIED. AS AT FULL VOLUME I CREATED INTERFERENCE WITH HIGH FREQUENCY AND NEARLY DEFFENED MYSELF. In a high pitch sqeaking noise,like what you would get from a stage microphone........but in your ears. Dont be put off by this though, it just seems like the over- headphones supplied aren't quite up to the task at full volume, and i tried a broken pair causing the same effect, but at full volume which is pretty loud. Other than this though the product is quality for the price and is also very loud and clear..

Mia mamma è anziana,quasi sorda e porta degli apparecchi acustici costosissimi con cui non sente comunque tanto bene, anzi. Con questo apparecchietto sente molto meglio e partecipa alle conversazioni. L'apparecchio è fatto bene, ha il microfono acusticamente isolato e se posso dare un consiglio, vale la pena provare. Le cuffie in dotazione sono abbastanza buone, gli auricolari invece vanno comprati a parte perché quelli in dotazione sono molto modesti. D'altronde per pochi euro si comprano auricolari eccellenti e cuffie ancora migliori. A mia mamma vanno bene quelli della Samsung morbidi per esempio. In conclusione, giudizio molto positivo in generale, mia mamma è rinata con l'uso di questo amplificatore.
