Quality
This stand is awesome. It is very sturdy and it was so easy to assemble. I would order another but I have a double stand as well. If I purchase another keyboard this would be my go to stand. Great quality for the price! 😄😄

Sturdy, well designed!
The unit was packed loose in a simple cardboard box with no padding. The stand is steel and of course has steel corners, and one of these punched through the box and was slightly gouged, leaving a sharp burr that I had to file off. Fortunately it was easy to put together as there were no instructions. The construction is square steel tube and very solid. Main features are well described in other reviews. In my use, when the stand hight is adjusted for me, the stand plus keyboard can slide under a simple slab desk (made from a door). It is a little awkward to drag the frame over the floor, so I bought a couple of casters for the legs away from the user (photo). Thus by raising the front a half inch, the stand can roll under the desk. Installing the rollers required removing the rubber plugs from the steel tube. The plugs are very solid and withstood removal and replacement well. It was a little hard to find suitable wheels so I will add this note: find them by searching Amazon for "Prime-Line Products R 7228 Drawer Slide Roller, 1-1/8 in. Outside Diameter, Plastic Wheel, Convex, Ball Bearing (Pack of 2),White". Require drilling a 1/4" hole in the tube.

Excellent Stand - Do not Buy the Cheap Keyboard Stands!
I’m a professional pianist, so I needed a stand for a new practice instrument (I live and work in crowded situations, so sometimes a Yamaha keyboard is useful, where I can wear earphones when I practice); this stand is far superior than the cheap brands for sale; it is strong and does not move while you are playing advanced works, and it has many levels of adjustment, not found on the cheaper products. If you are buying this for a student, go ahead and purchase a high quality stand such as this which will last for years rather than a cheaper model that will be of limited use.

Very sturdy, well-built, easy-to-assemble keyboard stand.
This thing is well built and easy to assemble. Took between five and 10 minutes to put together. It's very sturdy...it's made out of the same kind of hollow steel tubing that many home weight benches are made from. I don't think it would collapse or tip over except under extreme conditions that a keyboard, even the heaviest and widest, could not possibly subject it to. I'm a beginner learning piano because I've always wanted to, not because I imagine I'll become a performer or will play for others in any capacity, so I don't plan to be traveling with my keyboard. I chose this because of all the good reviews about quality and because I didn't want to be bothered putting together the immovable stand from the manufacturer that is supposed to go with the keyboard I bought. Plus I live in a split level with narrow staircases and wanted to be able to move it around with minimal trouble if necessary. But since some seem to be interested in portability I'll opine that this stand definitely seems portable, with just a little finagling. While very sturdy, it's not that heavy. I'm an average sized woman and got it up my stairs with no trouble at all. Short hops between a van or bus and a venue are probably very doable. To completely disassemble you'd just need to remember (and not lose) the allen wrench needed for the bolts that secure the cross bar. Or you could probably skip the allen wrench and just slide the crossbar to it's minimum width and move it that way. It seems very portable, although definitely not as easy to tote as a foldable X-type stand. But I think it's probably a lot more sturdy and well balanced than most X-type stands. Only con to this thing is the shipping is slooooooooow. Took a whole week to get here, and the box was very ripped and torn when it arrived. It had obviously been taped by UPS, apparently more than once. I didn't complain because the stand doesn't seem damaged in any way, but that's an artifact of using slow shipping. The longer it sits around in the UPS warehouses, the more opportunity to get banged up. All in all, highly recommend, although I also recommend to the shipper to increase the shipping speed.

An excellent stand with one big flaw.
This stand is awesome. It's held everything I need it to with nary a wobble. The arms are very long (about twice as long as you'll need for most keyboards), but this allowed me to put the stand directly against the wall at home and still have room for a stand to be behind it. Very convenient! The main issue I have with this stand is the "infinitely adjustable width". This selling point is achieved by simply not doing anything to the bar in the middle. Adjusting the width is done by manually screwing a dent into the bar so that it doesn't move. It works, but if you ever need to make the stand more wide or narrow for some reason, now you've got some nasty looking holes in your stand for no reason. Hole punch adjustment (like the height!) would have been significantly more preferred, since it keeps the stand looking nice. Its also not very portable -- don't expect this to be as easy to pack up as a cross stand. Otherwise, like I said before, this stand is great. It gets the job done very well, and it's very sturdy. I've experienced absolutely no wobble or movement while practicing at home.
