Nicorette has changed the taste and texture of their Lozanges. The new lozenges are absolutely terrible! The new Lozanges come in the “quit tube” container while the old ones came in the “poppac” container. At the time of this review they still have a picture of the old container on their listing, but rest assured that you will receive the new container when your order comes.The new ones have very little flavor and put a slimy feeling in your mouth. The taste and texture is like the generic brand now. I contacted the company to inquire about this change and they emailed me back that they have moved their manufacturing plant, which has caused a change (not sure how moving your location would change the recipe but whatever.) They further stated that they have no intention of returning to the old formula. I am extremely disappointed that am no longer getting the quality that I’m used to from Nicorette. Save yourself some money and just buy the generic brand. Nicorette has lost a customer in me unless they bring back the old formula.

I’ve been a heavy smoker, at least 2 packs a day, for 48 years. Quit once when I was 25 for a few months using the gum but started back. I’ve been using the lozenges for 10 days and haven’t craved a cigarette at all. I still reach for one in the car or after a meal but that’s habit and it goes away when I see they’re not there, but I’ve had zero urges for nicotine. I was given an option to quit or forego surgery that without having I’ll probably die. That’s great incentive but I honestly don’t believe I could have done this without these lozenges. I have a lozenge then wait the 15 minutes and use sugar free mints in between. If I can quit anyone should be able to do it. I honestly had no hope of quitting. This has literally been a lifesaver for me.

I was a smoker for almost 50 years and after chewing the 4 mg nicorette gum for 3 months I quit smoking cigarettes completely and feel great. Thank you nicorette gum.

I gave this 3 stars because those are the reviews that discerning people read...These are NOT the Nicorettes you are looking for. Seriously.I buy actual "Nicorette" lozenges because I can't stand the generic ones. I'm willing to pay the difference. These Nicorettes are EXACTLY like the CVS brand--lousy taste, lousy texture, not potent. Chalky and soft. Bleh! Really sad, and I have a full month's supply! I was immediately suspicious when I saw the containers were screw-top. It should be some kind of fraud, although the packaging looks authentic. I expect that they are being sold by Nicorette, but they've shifted to some cheap generic company to produce them. I read somewhere that they were having problems at their factory, so maybe that explains it. But never rule out simple greed.Expiration date is 04/2024. I've been getting by with ordering off Ebay and other sites (expiration dates in 2023) and they've been fine. The last batch I bought from this provider were fine.I'm pretty bummed at this point and wondering if I can send them back--if there's even any point.Don't waste your money and don't let them get away with this cheap substitute.Is there no pride or honor anymore?

This is the best kind of lozenge I have ever used! I will keep buying them from now on!

My husband has been a smoker for over 50 + years when he asked me to look around for something to help him cut down or completely stop,told him go to the doctor no way, thought here we go again trying to stop .Looked in my local drugstore but they didn't have a big selection .Came home thought of going on and reading reviews on Amazon saw some great reviews and learned that he needed the 4mg.ordered him his first box in June ordered about 2 more boxes and now it is October and he hasn't had or wanted a cigarette . I am amazed that he can go without a cigarette this long ,just finished the full 12 weeks.
