The Book is AWESOME!!! Recommend for any youth....HOWEVER Warning when ordering a large number of them at once....I ordered this item on 2 December, it qualified for the free shipment.. it was shipped on 11 Dec.. with projected delivery of 17 Dec... HOWEVER... because it went through DHL on it's way to USPS (aka mail man) to be delivered to me; it arrived Dec 22 from the USPS... NONE of my previous orders have taken that long, including those which qualified for free delivery. Because there were 20 book (actually only 19 arrived) ordered the box did weight a few extra pounds...to me that is no excuss for the delay, I gave it plenty of time... and why was the package delivered by USPS instead of DHL?? the address was correct... Stick with ONE carrier once it leaves the shipper...be careful when you have a large amount of books...

This particular version is good for anyone trying to establish the regular habit of being in God's word on a daily basis. It would also be good for new Christians. It covers many of the basic Christian tenets in a year. There is daily scripture reading, then usually a brief thought provoking commentary that helps the reader apply the scripture. It takes one minute of time to read, so even if you get behind a few days, it only takes minutes to catch up. I feel it would be a good tool to help someone establish the discipline of regular Bible reading. Hopefully it would also increase their appetite for more of God's word.

I read this One Minute Bible to my teen daughter every night, and we discuss what is being said and how it relates to her life today. It is my one tool I can use to stay connected with her. She needed story time when she was little, well you know what? As a teen, she still needs that time to bond. It is great for those new to reading the bible and those who need to hear the Word. Simple, day to day scripture that you can apply to your life! Get it, it is great!

The first thing I read every morning is One Minute Bible for Students. It gets me started in the right frame of mind for the day. I like the scripture which is connected to the day before. So, I’m getting the broad picture, and then a particular verse narrows my thoughts into something specific.
