LH Labs LH-GP-GPX-INF-001 Pulse Infinity DAC and Headphone Amplifier

Personal teleportation device! I have never experienced a headphone amplifier that has this ability. With my MrSpeakers Alpha Dog I am convicingly transported to the recording room. This is not even close to burnt in and I am blown away. I did not know my headphones were this capable. The DAC feed my all tube pre and SET amp with amazing results. Here is where I believe the burn in will continue to settle it in but I am already seeing this as an END game solution for my digital and headphone amp needs. As a side note, someone must have been sleeping at the wheel at Amazon because I paid a meer $403 for this item BNIB! I truly thought it was too good to be true, but truth is in the pudding as I sit here and listen, grinning from ear to ear! Thanks LH labs and Amazon!

Great dac with awesome capabilities. A ton of inputs and a variety of outputs make this a very versatile option. Paired with the lps makes it sound absolutely stunning!

Service is really bad, as others say, non-existent. I have an issue with the clipping of the sound of this DAC whenever electronics are switched on or off around it. They are clueless in how to fix it. Supposed to be able to download new firmware to try to solve it but as stated before, seem to need a MAC. I have not bothered to get another ticket again but I may have to hassle them again since I may not be alone in having issues with it. Stay away from crowd funding unless you are really tight on budget but hey look, the market of this DAC is as low as during crowd funding, as they likely have difficulty selling them at good price.

Hopefully this product will never become available again on Amazon. But just-in-case:1 - the product has high failure rates in the field -- I had one and it stopped working within a year, and I am not alone as a Google search of audio forums will confirm2 - is no longer supported because LH Labs was a front for a crowdfunding scheme that took in millions of dollars via IndieGoGo and ended up not delivering the products

LH Labs is a FRAUDULENT, dishonest company. They do not honor warranties and do not seem to ever be able to deliver on promises.Buy a CHORD mojo instead. Incredible value.

If you have a mac, forget buying this. There's no way to update the firmware to allow the Pulse to work with the newer mac operating systems... not unless you have a PC. I would say that customer service is basically non-existent. You can put a support ticket in, but good luck getting a response. They must be to busy inventing new products to sell you instead of supporting existing ones.For $2K you have some really nice options for a DAC that actually works.

LH Labs is awful - zero customer service, no telephone access. Don't waste your money.

Purchased from LIght Harmonic and received unit two months ago. Used it straight from the box. After reading about burn in sonicimprovements it was connected to a HD radio with coax output and played back for two weeks. The sonics are excellent. Played back mainly 96/24 files and results are much cleaner than previous dac. Noise floor and high frequency response stand out. The lack of low level hash or grain is a strong suit. Saw some test results later and saw the -160 dab noise level with 24 bit data. The is dCS stack results. Used a couple amplifiers, one single ended and the other balanced. Both outputs seem to outstanding. Not a headphone user. The volume control is the best I have used. The steps offer better than needed level control. Overall very pleased with the LH Labs Infinity. The cables included are good quality, the new chassis very nice, and the sonics as expected from Light Harmonic. Much recommended to anyone considering a dac/preamp/headphone amp in this price range.
