Nice knife, holds an edge
I have been through quite a few of the name brand version of this style knife and being less than observant have lost about a dozen while baling hay. I don't farm any more but haven't had a good knife in a while. I looked at my old standby and find they've gone from $35 to $78. I decided to take a chance on this seriously cheaper version. If anything, it's a little tighter than the name brand, looks great, and is holding an edge. I've been very pleased with it.

Cool little thing
Had one of these as a kid, along with a buck knight and buck white knight. Sadly over time they do get lost, or stolen. I was looking at the buck knights on eBay, the white knights are no longer being mfg., by buck. So the only ones that were cheap-ish, were all banged up for $50 or more. I was thinking, I’m not paying, $50 for a 40 yo knife that’s scuffed up. Then I remembered having one of these, schrade has always been a competitor of buck and the quality just as good as but for a better value. So I got one of these for $16-$17, steel is the same as a buck, 440 stainless. If you lose it, no biggy and the quality, it’ll last forever and a day with some care. Buy with confidence, it’s a great knife and they’re tighter than a tick when they lock up.

It has a harder than standard steel blade.
I like the hard blade. Takes longer to sharpen, but does not dull very quickly. Good value for the money. Pretty sturdy, but not as well machined as the one I had bought 20 years ago. Overall it is a great knife, just wish it was still made Stateside. 🤠

Great pocket knife.
I love this little pocket knife. It looks great, it fits nicely in my pocket, and it holds its sharpness so that I need to sharpen it less often. Now, if I can only remember not to take it to the airport like I did my last pocket knife...

Nice little knife
This knife is very pretty and a great pocket size for every day carry and simple every day tasks you might find use for: opening boxes, peeling an apple, even carving if stick if the desire hits. It feels nicely made. It is a little stiff, but not terribly so (nothing a little lube won't help remedy). The lock is easy to release and there is no issue there. It arrived sharp enough to execute most things; however, it is not as sharp as some other knives I have purchased in the price range recently. This is not an issue as my husband can put his desired edge on it when needed/desired. For size comparison, this is smaller than my Buck 55 and more in the size range of an Old Timer 3OT. Overall, thi sis a nice little knife. I love the size and quality for the price. It is very traditional in look and made for a great little "just because" gift for my husband that he is very happy with. If you are on the edge, I say give this knife a try.

I’m impressed
I just received this knife today, and my first impression is very good. I would say it’s a step or two above many of the other china made knives. It is very sharp, and nice to look at. The handle scales have an attractive reddish hue. It opens and closes as expected. I like the smaller size for pocket carry. Only time will tell how durable it will be, but for now I’m happy. Update: it took some time to figure out how to sharpen this type of steel. The secret is to get it as sharp as possible with your favorite stone, then finish it off with a quality ceramic rod. Wow! What an edge! I use a 1000/2000 grit rod from Noble Home&Chef ( sold on Amazon). Highly recommended!
