The cover for this book has changed since it was first published. The original cover artwork matches the content better than the new cover. Basically, it’s a slightly comical with you look at various sailing topics. It’s a fun read, with valuable information scattered throughout.

With an eye toward purchasing my first sailboat I bought this book hoping to get an edge on what I might be faced with. There's a lot of good advice in here - wish some anecdotal experiences by the author. Some of it is just common sense but there's also a lot of "glad he explained that" advice.
