An epicure's delight
This product shipped overnight from the West Coast and I ended up getting close to 3lbs of lardo for the price. You can taste the herbs that this lard was cured with and it tastes awesome served simply on bread. This is not nearly as good as the lardo I had in Italy, but it is great to be able to buy this in the US. Also it is a bit gristly in certain parts and it could have been a wider cut, but now I am just bickering.

Delicious
On the one hand, it took about two weeks to arrive. On the other hand, I got a little over pounds, so a full pound more than expected (your mileage may vary). It's very tasty -- on hot toast it's a bit of melty goodness. Looking forward to making a lardo pizza.
