This stitching pony gets the job done and holds leather pieces securely while I work. It’s easy to use and definitely makes hand-stitching a lot more manageable. The only downside is that it has a slight wobble, especially on smoother surfaces. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. Overall, it’s a solid tool for the price and has been a helpful addition to my leatherworking setup.

Works great, I like the quick release lever and it seems fairly sturdy. I’ve only used it a few hours and it’s WAY better than not using one. It was amazing the first time, worth purchasing if you don’t have one or want to keep the price really low.However, the construction is a bit subpar but for the price it’s hard to beat and I do t see anything that structurally affects its function negatively. With the lever it makes it really quick to open and close and that’s pretty nice. Price is very good, just not finished off like I would prefer but others that are are also much more expensive. It would make a great mobile or backup pony for someone serious or it’s a good option to test using one out, it makes a world of difference, in a very good way and I won’t be without one now.At first I didn’t think I could adjust the tension but it certainly can and it’s pretty easy to do. So you get the benefit of an adjustable pony but with the quick on and off clamp lever. And it actually looks like it might be more sturdy than another similar one that is a little more in price. Oh, I also like how it is mounted. I slip it in between my bed mattress and sit next to the bed using it. It’s pretty versatile. I do recommend it and I’d buy another one and finish it off better myself if it really ends up mattering to me.

Holds your project for stitching, sewing, and buck stitching which is something you ought to try. The board on the bottom is there to sit on to hold the stitcher steady. There is a clamp that is released by a lever so you can adjust your work, then it clamps tight.
