TrealHD Steel Gear Set Overdrive Differential Gear Helical for Redcat GEN8 & Ascent, Overdrive 18%

Makes the crawler turn and climb much better than stock. Does not affect trail driving.

The media could not be loaded.  I just upgraded my TRX4 21 Bronco with od, so I had to do my Redcat gen8. I bought the Treal od gear set because I have numerous other Treal parts and they have never failed. Treal is also quick to reply if something is needed. Excellent customer service. This gear set is a direct replacement for the stock set. There is quite a difference between the 2, being the heft and gear cut on the Treal set. After a thorough cleaning of the Treal axle housing, I installed everything and added fresh supper lube. Perfect fit. You can see in the short video, the amount of additional rpm's going to the front axle. The performance should be great!

Put these in the front axle of my gen8, it turns a lot better. It’s winter, so I don’t know how much better it’ll climb rocks, but I expect they will!

Definitely makes a huge difference in vertical crawling and tighter cornering. Huge advantage over stock! And east to install

Last purchased on April 29, 2021. Well it broke after a year of moderate 3s abuse with 2-1 Fusion. I got binded up underwater and sheared some teeth off. Not sure if i would buy again but was faster than stock.

Installs easily and perfectly meets its description. It greatly improves the rolling speed of the remote control axles.

This was the perfect amount of wheel speed I needed on the front of my Gen 8. Of course quality craftsmanship and fast shipping!

This is a awesome product for Redcat Gen 8 or Gen 7 with portal axles. You get better steering with this and better climbing.

Not the most cost effective option, but the quality is for sure there; I'm not worried about these gears grenading any time soon.
