Seems sturdy enough (good but not fantastic but for the money v.good), easy to install, programming options good.Wish could keep open on press of button but can block photo cells, or use key but means keep key handyI have 2 6' 5 bar gates, move quick enough, faster than some I used.so far close almost perfectly aligned each time once the screw adjustment set.Does not need stop (I might add) seems firmly in place, not tried forcing of course so not sure how strong.fairly sure you can program to stay open/closed but think auto close is best & adjust time delay leads me on to next investigation - Have now added PD132 induction loop car sensor, cheap (china!) amazon & wire, think £50 the two, dug in shingle drive, SO much better now, long drive, people can get out without me having to wait/watch. Caution if you do, think it through. As dumb switch, if you keyfob open then drive through will start to close on you as you drive over. All fine as long as don't use keyfob OUT. IN is fine as actually closes behind you.Really good addition is a wifi adapter, I got a HINMAY Smart Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener, Wireless WiFi .. No idea who they are but sure others are similar but for £26 well worth itTuya app or smartlife so can control from phones. In my case blip nearly works 40+m but app or alexa guaranteed'ish.Alexa will then work with this. "Gate" or whatever its named but use "ON" (as if a switch), off not work.Commands not 100% obvious as tends to cycle open, close or stop if mid way. Does not really have an open or close just opposite to what was last done but with the attached sensor is more smart.OEM keypad is fine, has to be 6 digits which is OK, watch range, says 5-10m. mine would not work at 4.5m but if pull radio wire in main CPU out (as advised) & straighten I then got 6-7m which was fine for me.Below is of no use to 99.9% of people but just to say it can be done & if that way inclined.I am currently programming via the Tuya API to work (& does) from a click on my PC also blue iris (camera recording software) can then send a command to open or close, Now using blue iris I have number plate recognition & can auto open gate. Not for the faint hearted & BI is a paid app (don't think can get a free one)

TOPENS KD702 Dual Swing Gate Opener. Easy to install instructions are clear, had a slight problem with one of the actuator contacted Topens and the issue was resolved very quickly by Zak in customer service.We have 2 sets of gate the other set has a Topens AT602 which has worked very well, when i went to purchase a second one 12 months later it was discontinued. The KD702 seems to be its replacement, this looks a lot stronger than the AT602 both can be operated on the same remote saves having to use multiple remotes.I really like these gate openers and would recommend these.

Installation was straight forward and they've been reliable for the past 6 months. I had a slight issue aligning the gates but I got very thorough emails from Jessica on support and I managed to resolve the issue with about 10 mins of adjustment. Definitely would buy again.

I purchased this kit to replace a previous opener that did not use limit switches to regulate its opening and closing but rather relied on detecting the motors stalling at either end of their travel as the gates reached the open and closed positions. Though this worked it put a lot of strain on the gates and the mountings so this is why I decided to switch to the Topens as it uses limit switches on the open and closed positions. When I installed my unit I decided to have a battery box above with the 24v batteries in and I have run a 24v supply to these from a float 24V battery charger in my outhouse to keep the batteries constantly at full charge. This has several advantages, firstly you can lay the wires yourself as they are low voltage so no mains to worry about, also if the mains goes off then the batteries keep the gates working. OK, when installing the openers the first thing to note is that the retracted limit switch is non adjustable so you need to make sure the mounting position gets that setting right from the get go. There is a table provided that gives information on the various dimensions and that give a good starting point, but I strongly suggest that you rig everything up for a trial run before finally fitting it permanently as it is important to make sure the closers will get the gates into the correct positions. The fully extended limit can be adjusted to alter the stop position, I would recommend for the first run you move this back so the ram stops early and then adjust it incrementally to get to the correct spot. The mounting brackets on the post do allow for some adjustment but you need to be in the ball park for this to work. The bracket has a centre large bolt and then several adjustment holes in a circle around it. Typically on mine one of them ended up between holes to be in exactly the right position, no problem I just drilled through the plate to make the bolt hole line up and job done. The panel is well made in what looks like ABS and has a sealing gasket, if I was going to be picky I would say that the 24V terminals in onto the bottom of the PCB are a bit fiddly if you need to connect in a few supplies, for example on mine I have a keypad, Alexa module, and the IR beam that all need 24v. You can of course pop tails in and come out to a larger connector, I managed to get everything in so no real problem. If you fit the IR beam you do need to enable it in the menu for it to work. It is also important to look at the notes regarding the actuator connections as these differ depending on whether you are doing push or pull to close/open, the documentation explains the changes pretty clearly. I am very pleased with the kit and love the fact that the gates now gently stop in the open and closed positions via the limit switches rather than jamming themselves into the stops like the other unit did. I have purchased some additional key fobs and I have to say they are a bit pricey in my opinion, that said they feel robust and should last well.

Really easy to install and very sturdy. Motors are quiet, efficient and capable of opening and closing the gates with ease (And accurately too) The Ops Manual so easy to understand for self installation and wiring diagrams laid out brilliantly. Key Fob remotes easy to program. Emailed Topens a couples of times with questions and to register the units for warranty and response from the Customer Support is excellent - Especially Joyce!! Polite, Prompt and accurate response - very rare these days. 10 out of 10!!

The media could not be loaded.  Good strong product, and easy to install using installation manual. Good customer support and represents good value for money compared to competition. This product was fitted together with Topens ET 24 Electric Gate Lock and they work well together.
