Handy for lunch

I purchased this as a gift and he loves it. It fits just the right amount of food (despite it looking too small for a solid meal) it works perfectly.

works perfect. no micro at work, so now i can eat hot food. yes hot! not warm ;-) wish it was about 2 inches bigger. (cant put a thin porkchop in with the bone on) lol

I bought two of these for my younger daughters for school unfortunately school is closed so it may not see heavy use until school reopens, but so far they are good size, good portions of food can be placed in them. And it fits perfectly in their lunch bag i boughtI haven't tried warming the food up in it electrically, i only tested how long it keeps food warm, I was hoping it coudl last atleast 4 hours(so I can send my kids to school with cook meal it it can be atleast warm by lunch) but maybe it a hour pass it it was cold, I don't know if sending them to school with a charger and ask their teacher to warm it up 30 mins before lunch could work, or they could do it on the lunch break if they give them access to outlets, we'll shall seem.But the apart that the handles are somthing of concern, ohhh they definitely will break on you, it should of been made of somthing stronger, or made and a more secure leeds aggressive way of locking, id have to instruct my kids not to try lock it down after they open it. Just put it back in the lunch bag as so, locking it down requires a bit of awareness, or you can/will easily break it.I also looked at some luch containers with valcros and I might see how that works with these.And as for cleaning; the metal plate inside is on the sharper end so be careful to not aggressively wash it.The value for you buck depends on how long this last on you. And the heating funtions of thst specifically why you bought it.

I like that the pan is separated and the cover keeps most of the food from leaking out. It definitely is not leak proof. The cheesy locks that hold the top on do a very poor job at staying locked. Every time you pick it up they pop open. The portion size doesn't seem like alot but it actually is plenty unless you eat way more than you should. It take about an hour to heat your food up but I plan ahead and plug it in early. The body of the unit seems like very cheap ,thin plastic that would break easy but has held up for the last 5 months but does show its age pretty quickly. The lid has the silicone separators that start out nice and clear but will discolor very quickly when you put something dark in the cooker like beef stew. All in all, I enjoyed it for what it was , but after about 5 months, mine has stopped heating up. The connection where the cord plugs in does not seem to get a great connection. Also the cord should be longer as most of our 12v outlets are high on the dash in our trucks and it's hard to plug it in and secure it anywhere that it will ride well. I really enjoyed the hot food ,but, with its short life span and other short falls, I will probably try a different cooker the rest of the cookers don't have the lid that seals the trays as well as this one. I will keep looking I quess

The product is excellent for heating your food up. Space is a bit limited but I guess that’s good so you don’t over do it on portion sizes. It heats up my food usually in 40min to an hour. It might depend on the food you put in. I have used it twice putting 8 chicken wings in. I’m happy with its performance. Only major downside is the box construction. I feel like I need to baby it because the handles that seal and shut the box are thin and plastic. I can tell one drop and it would be over for those things. I recommend the manufacturer beef up the closing mechanism if they want a supreme product.

Not leak proof.

This was bought to have food on the road, plug that bad boy into the 12v car charger, and ramp up the butt warmer in the car and you'll have nice decently warm food within 30minutes, and 60 minutes if you want your food to feel like its fresh out of the stove/oven.It has a slight metal burning smell sometimes tho, but I am not bothered by minor nuisances. It tends to dry out the corners slightly, but that can easily be solved with more sauce on the edges or line it with a tad of oil.Definitely not leak proof, your chili or chicken alfredo will be all over you if you go through wild swings.Overall, for its price. it is good, way better than those thermos that just "try" to keep your food warm for hours but doesnt actually.

Side handles broke down after two months after three the months its not heating or charging. Its like junk now
