Somewhat pricey, but a really nice ladle. Finish is nice and overall feels solid in use. Capacity is nice and generous. The handle is shorter than I expected. Keep that in mind if you are used to a longer handle. Did not affect the function or use for me, but it would be hard to get it to the bottom of a deep pot.

I have a similar ladle, but when we have three soups to serve, one ladle isn't enough! Bought this two-pack so that we can simultaneously serve multiple pots of stew/soup without mixing the soups! They seem to work fine, no issues so far.

It is porous and soft. The dishwasher doesn’t get all the food particles off it. Also doesn’t scoop up all the food in the edges of the pan.
