Easy Setup & Does What it say on the Tin
Set up was very easy as was the cloud printing provided by Epson. It's heavy so needs a sturdy surface to sit on. Only two minor issues. Having filled the printer with the regular type 113 ink bottles provided, after initializing the printer the ink levels in the reservoir windows dropped to about half, not a major issue as I would surmise that the ink is still available but held in the printers internal reservoir. The only other minor issue for me is the paper output tray, it automatically extends as printing starts but has to be manually retracted (by pressing an icon on the printer's screen) unless you turn the printer off; I keep mine in sleep mode. Apart from that, an excellent printer, it's fast, very fast and the print quality is superb.

Good printer, slow scanner
Printing is great, does have double sided scanning function, what we were looking for, but scanning is slow.

Amazingly just worked with nice print
There is a lot to go wrong with modern printers and getting all the functions (scanning, phone connection etc etc) to work is a bit of a struggle but the ET-5850 just worked. Quite big, quite expensive but worth it since it has been trouble free over the first months of frequent use.

Great printer, shame about the armfuls of junk software that gets installed.

Bonus that you can double side scans from the feeder, this was the main selling point for me.
