Kind of tipsy but very lovely...

I have to admit, after reading some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant about ordering this burner. But at this price point, I figured worse case scenario it would be re-gifted and given to someone. Well here's the honest truth: most of the reviews complain about the size of the shell. Well keep in mind that burners of all sorts are meant to be personal-sized. Not too large, not too small either, just intimate enough for two. This burner is exactly that. When I'm meditating or praying, I'm typically in my personal space, and this burner is just the right size for one's reflection space. Personally the beauty in my opinion is in its simplicity: sea shell, and wood - that's it. The smoke rising from burning embers, incense or sage leaves only adds to meditative environment of your space. Now about the stand, your given the option for natural or stained wood. I opted for the stained wood. It's stained a redwood color, which I personally enjoy. It's untreated, so if the color isn't to your liking, a simple coat of paint or stain will bring it to a whole new level. On a side note: it's really cute! It looks great on a side table next to a plant; or as an accent piece on a bookshelf. You'll not regret ordering. I hope this review helps. Peace and joy :)

This is almost perfect it’s just that the shell is on the smaller side to the point where the holder is almost to big for it. But it still works great.

This was a nice little all-in-one kit with a great price. The shell was on the small side though (as compared to another shell I bought from another Amazon seller), and the colors were a little washed out. These are minor complaints on natural variations on a product from nature... so it's not necessarily indicative of what someone else might get. Overall - it's a lovely shell (with a nice stand & cute little bundle of sage) and I think my friend (whom I bought it for as a gift) will like it!

Beautiful and functional. My daughter became irrationally afraid that there were ghosts in her room (our House was built in 1998- 97%sure it’s ghost free) so we got this to cleanse the room; ie, placebo her fears. It worked. “Ghosts”are gone (haven’t been mentioned since) and it remains an attractive decoration in her room. :)

Got this as a gift for a friend and she loves it! She has it on a counter near her front door so it's one of the first things you see when you walk in. It's really cute and the perfect size! I am considering purchasing for myself now.

To get started on your smudging this is all you need to start. Plus it comes with a cute little wooden tripod stand to hold your abalone shell when you are done.

These are good quality for the price. One shell had a chip in it but it doesn't affect the usage and it wasn't broken during delivery, I think the shell was just created like that. The tripod is as expected and the included sage is good. Again, for the price this is acceptable and I will purchase again.
