Great product!
Used this product for a huge project--creating a sensory hallway for the students at our elementary school. We created lots of "sensory motor pathways using tremendous amounts of large and small vinyl patterns, shapes, numbers, letters and designs. This transfer tape was very easy to use and apply. We did not have one single mishap or tear when removing it to adhere the vinyl in place. It comes in rolls and would like to see if it could be sold in flat sheets for even easier use.

Great value
I gave this 5 stars because of the value and transfer ease. It’s jusy sticky enough to transfer vinyl to textured surfaces but strong enough to transfer glitter vinyl. The only con to this paper is that it isn’t clear, but had I read the description prior to purchasing, I would have known that. With it being an off-white color, it makes it difficult to layer or precisely place the vinyl. Otherwise, it’s excellent.

just what I was looking for
Used the Cricut clear transfer tape but found that the vinyl was sticking to it and not releasing. very difficult to transfer to certain surfaces (stainless mugs). This transfer paper was exactly what I needed. Plenty of tack to remove the vinyl from the backing and keep things in place but much much easier to peel off on some surfaces that weren't perfectly smooth. Will buy more for sure. Worked great with Cricut vinyl as well as Oracal 651 and 631.

Works great for window vinyl!
I am redoing the vinyl window display at our gym and ordered this to help alignment and placement for the lettering and logo. It worked perfectly. The sheet is not clear, but it was thin enough that we could rough place it and the see how the lettering looked before removing the backs and permanently placing them. And once we did, the grid paper was easy to pull off without lifting the vinyl letters with it. I had done a test run with another brand and it was so sticky I ruined the vinyl design trying to remove the grid.

One of the best transfer papers I've used
I took the time to read through some of the lower star reviews and it seems that for those specific products those people might want to use a strong grip transfer paper. That being said I LOVE this paper. I was skeptical when it first arrived, it didn't seem tacky, at all. The problem I was having prior to purchasing this product was that many of the transfer papers I was using were ripping my vinyl apart, not coming off, way too tacky. What I love about this product is that I can cut a 12x12 piece and use it up to 4 times applying different vinyls! Thats a huge plus and money saver for someone who is selling their items and trying to create a profit where ever I can. I have been using it with Oramax stencil vinyl. Yes I do put some elbow grease into scraping it and sometimes need to use my weeder to grab pieces that wont remove but its worth it since I'm saving money on vinyl that would have normally been wasted while using stronger adhesive brands. Ordering my second roll now!Would get 5stars if I could see through it! Not a huge disappointment but would be more helpful with smaller projects and placement

Exactly what I needed!
This was exactly what I needed. It works well, and the grid lines make it easier to measure/line up to apply the vinyl to various projects and are transparent enough to still see your project once the contact paper has been pressed down on it. It was strong enough to get the items off the vinyl backing on the projects easily, and peeled off nicely without removing the vinyl from the pieces they had just been applied to.

Does what it’s supposed to do!
I am a newbie to this craft stuff. I got a Silhouette Cameo 3 recently and was having a hell of a time getting the vinyl to transfer. After reading online, I realized I was missing an important component— transfer tape! I went to Amazon like I do for everything in life and saw this was a top seller with excellent reviews; could thousands of people be wrong? Turns out, they are right, this stuff is the real deal and will make your vinyl transferring life MUCH easier. I’ve used it dozens of times in the past week and it is exactly what I needed for quick crafting. The only trouble I encountered was when I used Cricut glitter vinyl— it didn’t hold as well as the matte and glossy vinyl did, but I realized that is an issue with many brands. Even the Cricut branded strong transfer tape that came with the glitter vinyl didn’t hold well, so it’s definitely a tricky vinyl to work with and doesn’t reflect poorly upon the transfer tape. It just needs a little extra patience to get it done.If you’re reading this and on the fence, do yourself a favor and click the buy it now. You’ll be crafting in no time!

Please read this. This product has changed
I had ordered this item as listed, two times prior. I like the paper transfer because it is great on painted surfaces. The role I just received ( my third order) was not paper. It was the plastic material like many other transfer tapes. Just be aware. Someone else left a similar review. I wish I would have read it before I ordered but since I had ordered it previously I didn’t think to read the reviews.
