Evanlak VGA, Edid, emulator passthrough (monitor without rearranging the desk), display, emulator use with KVM switch/video splitter and extender, 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz

Used this to emulate EDID data, it worked perfectly. The resolution was limited but it did what we needed it to do.

Didn’t work. Returned it.

Simple, plug and play and just works

These do not work. Displays work for a second or two then go black as if they are searching for signal. This happens over and over constantly. *** update *** These do actually work! However they need to be plugged into the device you are sending the signal to, not your computer. Originally I had it plugged into the computer and that’s why it would not work.

I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT ON 20TH NOVEMBER FOR WHICH DELIVERY WAS MENTIONED FROM 24TH TO 1ST DECEMBER , I RECEIVED THE PRODUCT ON 2ND DECEMBER AND RETURN WINDOW WAS ALREADY CLOSED ON 1ST DECEMBER EVEN BEFORE RECEIVING THE PRODUCT. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MY MONITOR SO I SEEK A REPLACEMENT AS IT COST 10300 BUCKS.

this worked just fine in my configuration for 2560x1600@60Hz. rx7900xtx and rx9070xt driving a hdmi to dvi adapter fed this edid emulator. everything else i tried ended up with 1920x1080. BUT when i tried my 4800u (which worked with just the hdmi to dvi adapter) it gave a blank screen. despite this i think its great cause it solved my particular problem. YMMV.

The package was unsealed when I got it. I assumed this this VGA emulator passthrough I purchased on Amazon was new, but apparently I ended up with a used one (or a open box returned item). After installing it, it works at the expected resolution of 1920x1080, but now the screen is off-center on the monitor.
