1 7/8" x 40" Long We love ours. I had to glue this piece because it was cracked, but the Titebond did the trick. We had it for three years now.

Bench is sturdy/solid, and have been sitting on it with no issues! Have absolutely no issues with this bench. Very happy with this bench.
