I was skeptical considering the odd brand name and made of bamboo. It is a nice piece. The wood/bamboo seems strong, straight and has a nice appearance. The finish is even and looks good. Everything lined up well as did the holes. A reviewer complained about ot being 2 piece and the magnets. It's a bread box, put it on your counter and leave it. If you move it, lift from the bottom. It's stable enough. Now if you want to take it white water rafting, it will come apart. It's a bread box, put it on your counter. As with any build, take your time, line things up, tighten the screws evenly and straight and I wouldn't recommend using a powered driver building anything wood, don't over- tighten. I'm happy with purchase. I would buy again and wouldn't hesitate to gift.

Initally at $70 this seemed like a pricey bread box, but the quality of wood and ability to store utensils underneath it, plus the viewing windows made me decide to take a chance. Upon arrival, one of the boards was broken in two places (see pic), but all the other boards and hardware looked fine. I contacted customer service three weeks after purchase (that's when we actually had time to assemble this thing) and they responded literally within 5 minutes. I showed them the picture and they immediately send out a replacement of the piece I needed. I got it about a week and a half later in good shape. Hubby says the box only required a 3/10 on his brainpower scale to assemble, so I'd call that pretty easy. It looks lovely and I can fit 4 loaves of homemade bread in it, 2 on each shelf with about 4" to spare on each side.

I had this in my cart for a long time and finally bought it on Prime Day. Make sure to put all the pieces together before screwing them together so the door closes correctly. I accidentally put the sides on wrong and then realized they were the opposite way. Everything lined up perfectly and I had no problems. The magnets are not super strong but good enough to keep it together. I love how it comes apart in two pieces. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this because the color matched the other wood in my kitchen. It must be completely assembled, but the screws do not fit the predrilled holes so they will not go all the way in and stick out. The wood also splits very easy. Once you get it somewhat assembled, it is very shaky and not sturdy at all. It would need to be wood glued during assembly if you really wanted to keep it. I ordered a replacement hoping I got a dud but the second one was exactly the same. I wanted to like this breadbox, but it is really not worth the time, effort, or money.

Only issue was upon installation, some of the holes drilled into the box to receive dowel pins weren't drilled deep enough. Had to cut down the pins for the piece to ride flush. Also, the screws were crappy. Using a regular phillips screw driver, several of them broke trying to install them. Luckily, I had a few stray screws that were close enough in size, that I was able to finish the build. Once put together, it's really nice....

Love this breadbox! Fit perfectly on my countertop, color just right and large enough for my needs. Quick assembly.Update: Sadly, after gentle use for 6 weeks, the drawer has 'pulled' apart. I really love the box and I do keep seldom used small items in the drawer for convenience. It is not just 'snap back in place' as there appear to be some type of staple in use. Also, the door on the larger cabinet is not closing easily after this time frame as well. :(

I did have to exchange the 1st one as the top panel was split in two and the 2nd one was also going to split as well, but I was able to save it. I think this is due to the way its packed. Either way I kept it and I use it and I love it.

I love this bread box. The smaller compartment up top is wonderful for buns, French loaves, anything a little shorter than a regular loaf of bread. The bottom is a bit taller and hold a full loaf of bread, and then some. It’s a great color, and looks great in our kitchen.
