The recipients were really pleased with this. I can't comment on how easy it was to use, but as a "congratulations" gift, it was really well received. Nicely presented and easy to wrap! Based on that, I would definitely buy again.

Set comes in a nice little box which would be suitable for a gift. I used all 3 bags of clay which is covered in a slightly oily substance to be able to get it out of the bags (so be careful regarding oil stains!). Consistency is good at room temperature and gets even softer if you kneed it for a while. If you evenly spread it in the biggest compartment of the frame the clay will be flush with the edges - i did not use the wooden stick supplied since that was very awkward to use. I used got an even clay surface by simply using my flat hands. My baby is nearly 5 month old and hand and food fit in the area nicely but I think much bigger hands and feet wouldn't look nice anymore. My first attempt to get a print of the foot was not successful since my baby likes to fold his toes in... I smoothed it up again and did a 2nd try which was not perfect but I left it - same with the hands. You have to press hand and foot quite strong on it to get a proper deep print and at the same time convince your baby not to wiggle around...;) One other thing to keep in mind: as you press foot and hand in the surrounding clay obviously bulges up - so get that frame and try it on as long as the clay is still wet!

I was blown away by how easy it was to get a perfect footprint from my little one , the instructions were clear and the kit made it a breeze. The frame itself is really good quality, well,made and looks great in the nursery. I love that you can add photos too, makes for a beautiful memory to treasure. Highly recommend!

We've used a couple of different types of kit for our daughter's grandparents. This one was the best. It has a specific slot for clay to be pressed into and holds it well, as well as making it easier to "square off" the clay. The frame and frame insert are good quality too. It can be free standing or hung up.

Easy to use.

The idea of this is great but in reality there are a few things which make it really hard to do. You need at least 2 people if you’re doing baby feet and hands to push hands and feet into the clay is harder than you think. Toes and fingers curl up and the print doesn’t look quite like what you had in mind! The clay is quite stiff even when kneaded well for half an hour so it gives your hands a workout. The warmer it is the easier it is to deal with. Getting an even surface is hard. It’s like plastering there’s a fine art to getting it smooth! The clay can crack. We followed the insurrections yet we still have several cracks appeared. The photo is a nice idea but trying to find a company that will print out 6.5cm x 6.5cm is really hard. They tend to do it in inches and 2.5” is slightly too small and 3” is too big. Maybe the hole cut out for the photos should be a standard size?! Just a thought!

I have gotten this so I have a beautiful memory of my dog that passed away. Easy to get it ready to take the footprint. I haven't done the best job with mold edges but I'm happy as it is. 😊 It is a good quality and the instructions are clear how to prepare the mold.
