300 Spartan Helmet Maximus Muscle Armor & 300 Helmet & Leather Leg & ARM Guard

AMAZING craftsmanship!! Nauticalmart put alot of LOVE into this SPARTAN helmet (w/horse hair mohawk, small leather beanie included for excellent helmet fit, I do not use the leather beanie as I wear a size 8 Pro-baseball hat), chest plate & back plate are unreal they could easily stop a sword slash or battle axe blow.without breaking way as they are a nice not overbearingly heavy (for a blue collared man) thick steel. AND the shin guards aswell forearm guards are real leather, smells and feels comfy/fantastic. Extremely happy with my purchase, arrived very quickly TBH. I would most definatly order from Nauticalmart AGAIN!! GREAT JOB Nauticalmart!! 6'2" tall and 299lbs! Was a bit snug in the waist and shoulders. Nothing a little bit of finessing couldnt take care of!! And a bit more cardio on my end, I imagine @265lbs it would be fine too on me. *wink Till next time Nauticalmart, Big Fred (Cen Cal)..

Its decent. The torso piece is not bad. Could be thicker idk if this would stop anything above a 9 mm. Maybe a .22 could even punch it. Not bad though for hand to hand combat. A good axe though or hammer would crush it though. The helment is better quality and fits decent. It moves a lil even when i tighten the chin strap but not enough that in actual combat it would be manageable and not turn sideways on ya. The leather arm n leg pieces i kept but idk. They suck and i dont wear them. Id recommend taken the burs off inside the chest piece and filing them down to smooth steel. The chest piece scratches fairly easy but its decent steel. I filed all the corners and i slip it on easy enough. Pretty cool. The helmet i didnt have to do much too- cept ima run a small bead of caulking to keep the horse hair snug- but its a tight fit. Im just doin it as a precaution. Itl work for my first purchase though.

Hands down an amazing product! Halloween was a complete success with this. I used a simple loin cloth with compression running shorts underneath. I didn't use the included leg guards, ordered separate sandals which looked like they came with this! Roman sandals with straps that go up the calf. - Con: Since it's made of metal, it is a bit heavy. (You can handle it!) - Pro: Look & feels real. made of metal. - Pro: You will get random people asking to take pictures with you & you'll probably win any costume contest you enter. - Con: I had to add foam padding inside so it wouldn't pinch my skin. - Con: Helm is bit heavy. - Con: Helm: included padding for helm is not enough & isn't attached to helm so it swivels when you put it on. - I superglued the included padding into the helm, solved the issue.

Just received my order today. I’m 5’7 157lb and this suit feels bigger on the sides, however I bent the edges in to fit my body frame and put extra holes on the straps to fit my smaller frame. Now it fit perfectly. The helmet is ok, there’s better ones out there but this set is a bargain at $114.00, overall I’m very happy with the purchase.

I will say that the Armor looks pretty cool, but it has a lot of flaws, and it’s gonna cost you more money to get it to fit right, and comfortable. Where the armor curves around the torso and the shoulders as shown in the picture, is very pointy and will poke/scratch you. It’s very annoying and uncomfortable. I went about a piece of leather and spend a lot of time cutting, and glueing these pieces together just so i can wear the damn thing. Im gonna give it a more permanent fix later on, but either way, it will cost you money. I already spent a decent amount of money getting it. I shouldn’t be spending more money to fix it, and for that reason im giving it 2 stars.

I bought this set mainly for the cuirass, the leather grieves, and leather forearm guards.The helmet(save the horse hair brush) was a throwaway;too heavy and clumsy to wear. Having said that, the cuirass is both lightweight and functional; fits well(186 lbs.,5'10"), however. . .before trying it on, be sure to file down the sharp/protruding rivets on the inner surface(12 of 'em) These sharp snags could ruin your experience.The leather grieves&arm guards are well made and fit the bill for re-enactment use. I would only recommend this product if you have an alternative helmet in mind.

I am about 160 pounds and 5 foot 9. The armor came a little large on me but after some physical persuasion, it bent to fit me quite well! I bought a cape, kilt, and some shoes separately which I feel really finished off the look.

Overall it was well made, everyone said it was very Hollywood, it went well with my house. I would have rated 5 star, but they missed a crucial part.. THE BACK PLATE last time I checked I dont have an 8 pack on my back... so i literally had to put two front plates back to back, and had my Spartan Queen tie them together with black Zip ties... I would not have worn it and refunded if I didnt have my cloak to cover the back. Sell a spear and a sword strap for real swords, cuz the one I used was real and I am more than happy to buy those. Other than that the armor came in lubricant. I sprayed hot water and wiped off some to give it a more rigid look.

I bought it as a costume. All in all my first impression is very positive. The armor itself has a good quality ant also the leather parts make a good impression (No scratches or damages) Only the helmet is quite big. Shipping date was as scheduled. I only had to wait six days. For this price (130€) it was a very good deal. Only 4 stars because on one leather strap a D-ring was missing for fixation Ich habe mir das Kostüm für Karneval gekauft. Der erste Eindruck ist durchweg gut. Die Rüstung hat eine ordentliche Qualität (Keine Lackabplatzer oder Schäden im Leder). Der Helm fällt sehr groß aus. Der Vorraussichtliche Liefertermin wurde eingehalten (6 Tage ab Bestellung). Für den Preis ein absolut guter Kauf. Aber nur 4 Sterne, weil an einem Lederriemen der Metallbügel zur Befestigung gefehlt hat

Let's be clear, with armour this cheap you expect to get what you pay for, but I'm happy to say I got more than that. The low price is mostly reflected in the build quality of the bracers and greaves which have a cardboard base. I'm not expecting them to last more than a year or even a single wet event but the armour and helmet are actually very good. The steel isn't thick but it's a struggle to bend, the edges have been rolled or flattened and the base paint job is a good basecoat or would work fine on it's own. The Helmet is a good fit on an adult head although, given that I intend to larp in it, I may secure the straps with a stronger glue. I have yet to test it by falling over on it but I expect it will survive without too much deformation given that I've tried to deliberately bend it with no success. The breastplate and backplate feel sturdy and fit very well with a good amount of adjustment possible for chest size or layers. All in all, if you're looking for armour to modify for cosplay or to try out a heavy larp fighter without spending multiple hundreds, I'd highly recommend this.Five stars because not only did I get what I expected, it actually exceeded expectations, and the seller was very quick to reply to questions. Would buy from again.
