Well made and works great
I got this to degas silicone and stabilise wood for knife scales and its working great. I'm glad I paid the extra for this larger 12l version as it gives more room for larger containers if I ever need to do a larger project. I like that the pressure gauge is on the vessel instead of the lid as it makes it easier to see what you're working on. The glass top version is more expensive than the acrylic versions, but its needed if working with wood stabilising resins. The lid is a big thick slab of toughened glass, with a thick silicone rubber gasket around the edge. It sits perfectly flat on the rim of the steel vessel and gets a perfect seal. The pressure gauge maxed out at -1 bar and stayed there. The whole thing is looks and feels heavy duty and built to last.

Great
Easy to order, arrived quickly, better than expected. The glass top is very sturdy. It takes a little juggling to get a seal (probably because it was new and in a cold room) once sealed works very well. Really impressed.

Mine was leaky, but simple to repair
When I got this, it didn't seem to be leaking but would lose most of its vacuum within 15 minutes - warming the glass+seal in the sun made no difference. The fitting on the side of the pot seemed looser than I would've expected and the gauge/valves moved around freely. The nut on the inside could only be tightened slightly as there was no washer and I didn't want to damage the rubber seal. Adding a steel washer allowed this fitting to be tightened considerably. The whole fitting feels much more rigid and the pot now holds a vacuum for several hours with no discernible change to the pressure inside.

Good value
Have used it 3 times so far. Holds -29inHg vacuum for many hours without any leak.

Vacuum Gauge Leaking, Minor damage on rubber lid.
The media could not be loaded. The gauge is leaking the glycerine (or oil) inside the chamber and contaminating the environment (See the video). The lid is ok, rubber has some minor damage but its not a big deal, the sealing from lid side is ok. The connectors and valves has some movement without a lot of force which leads to leaking. Can't get to -29inHg, only to -27inHg. The pump I've ordered from the same company is OK.

Not as large as it claims
Seems to be a decent quality product and functions well, but when I saw it, I was immediately sceptical of the claim that it has a volume of 6.8 litres. I measured it by filling it to the brim with water and, sure enough, the actual volume of the vessel is a little over 4.6 litres. This is not a problem for me, since it suits my requirements, but if you need a particular capacity, you might want to consider buying one of the larger ones.

Not great for a vacuum chamber!
The gage turns constantly because the seal isn’t great meaning it loses the air.Tried emailing however no one gets back to you!Would invest in another if I was you
